At Afterpay & Cash App, Creative Ops/Production empowers the brand creative and marketing teams to excel with production excellence. Creative Ops Managers drive the entire process from concept thorough delivery partnering with cross-functional teams to tackle business challenges for our customers. The creative ops/production team is responsible for uniting the team, delivering the best work, and problem solving solutions.

We are looking for an Australia based Creative Ops Manager who will lead Afterpay International projects/productions within our brand studio team, from brief intake to delivery. Our Afterpay brand studio team collaborates and manages the creative process for marketing, sales, and product teams working on various projects from campaigns, digital, experiential, and more.

The ideal person must have expertise in project management and integrated production. Essentially, we are seeking a versatile individual, a swiss army knife—a hybrid role combining program manager and producer responsibilities - someone who enjoys operations, project management, and production equally, valuing all three aspects with equal importance.

This role will report to the Head of Creative Production (NY based) and work closely with our Head of Creative (Sydney based).

You will:

• Lead brand projects / programs, assuming responsibility for day-to-day management of the creative process (brief to deliver) and stakeholder involvement.
• Work closely with creative and cross-functional teams to scope projects and build production approaches from briefs
• Track project / program projects, maintenance, budget, timelines, communication of status, and ensuring efficient workflows
• Onboarding new agencies, vendors, and freelancers while owning relationships.
• Organize and lead project meetings, including developing agendas and capturing action items
• Manage creative feedback and revisions to ensure project is on scope
• Help develop process improvements for content production, setting up for future growth
• Mitigate risk and be proactive on any potential project / program problems
• Ensure the highest creative standards are achieved and on brand
• Collaborate with business affairs and legal on large projects for legal sign-off
• Be a brand champion and find moments of celebration for the team

As one of Afterpay’s Relationship Managers, you’ll grow and expand our key strategic partnerships across a defined portfolio of Australia based Mid Market merchants and work to exceed profitability targets for Afterpay and our partners. 

We are looking for someone who will effectively run a business within the Afterpay APAC business. You will lead the direction and evolution of our vertical strategies and own the growth and development of your portfolio; identifying opportunities for establishing best practices that scale across the wider business.

Responsibilities:

• Grow and develop long term profitable partnerships that deliver for our  Merchants, our Customers and Afterpay. From topline growth, right  through to the unit economics you’ll focus on building a sustainably profitable business 

• Lead C-level external and internal engagement and stakeholder management. This role is about truly leading and managing complex  relationships and engaging internally and externally to build advocacy 

• Work with and leverage senior stakeholders across the Afterpay business in every region from APAC, UK and North America to drive local engagement and focus for your portfolio of Australia based merchants 

• Manage a complex portfolio and lead the development and analysis of the overall portfolio and its performance. You’ll develop, negotiate and  execute our multi-year account plans in conjunction with our strategic  partners and lead the evolution of our pricing and contract renewal  process that establishes clear and measurable ROI models for Afterpay  and its partners 

• Deliver a proactive customer growth strategy to drive merchant usage,  satisfaction, and revenue growth across our current contracts and new  opportunities

• Develop and refine our Merchant Value proposition in-store and online.  Establish clear marketing best practices, optimization strategies and  expansion plans with our partners and monitor performance 

• Identify and help scale best practices across a variety of areas including  Operations, Risk Management Staff Training, Visual merchandising and  Marketing plans  

• Lead Merchant advocacy within the Afterpay business. Foster cross-functional engagement internally across Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, Risk and Operations to ensure our product and offering continues to evolve and exceed both our merchants and their customers’ expectations

Afterpay ANZ seeks a driven Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a part of our inside sales division, you will work closely with the inside sales manager to identify potential Afterpay merchants. Through a variety of communication channels including social media, Salesloft, emails, and phone calls, you will engage with ideal Afterpay business owners. Your primary responsibilities will involve generating and qualifying new opportunities, as well as scheduling appointments for our Account Executive team. By gaining insight into the unique requirements of diverse SMBs, you will serve as an expert, showcasing the value that Afterpay and our Account Executives can provide.

This position can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney, with flexible options for remote or office-based work.

As one of Afterpay’s Merchant Support Experience team members, you’ll be responsible for handling inbound queries from our Merchant partners assisting with questions and queries.  This is a critical consumer facing role and we pride ourselves in delivering a seamless service to all of our merchants. We offer a blended contact strategy for our partners, the majority of which will be handled via voice alongside digital.

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC with hybrid working model (1-2 times a week in the office).

• Handle in-bound contact(Voice & Digital) from new and existing retail partners whilst meeting Service Level Agreements, including making outbound calls to the merchant and other business areas where appropriate
• Support on-boarding sessions with new and potential merchants by answering questions and providing insight into how the product works and how to sign up
• Update core details relating to existing merchants, which include bank details etc.
• Take ownership of designated queries and drive through to resolution
• Create merchant credentials in Admin Portal (our in-house system)

The Square Australia Sales team is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team.
