The TechEx team forms part of the IT Workplace Operations Team and the role will require a high-level customer focus, technical flexibility and agility. The role also requires flexibility around operational hours as well as supporting multiple locations in Southeast Asia and ANZ.

1. Provide 1st & 2nd line desk side support services to NBCUniversal International on all supported technologies including Windows & Mac hardware and various mobile technologies.
2. Identify and deliver Service Improvements aligned to the company’s goals by prioritizing technology initiatives and supporting the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies.
3. Good understanding of mobile technologies such as iPhone/iPad, Blackberry, Android & Windows Mobile running various OS levels.
4. Provide support to the infrastructure teams, where necessary, for remote hands and eyes to assist in the resolution of technical faults.
5. Work closely with all IT groups to resolve incidents / requests and ensure impact to customers is kept to a minimum.
6. Ensure adherence to all NBCU international policies, processes and procedures as well as support continual service improvement activity where appropriate.
7. Assist with product evaluation and the introduction of new technologies into operational support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer skills are equally as important as technical skills, combining both to ensure delivery of a world-class service.  Effectively manage Incidents and Requests, ensuring customers are kept informed of progress and escalating where necessary.

Main Areas of Activity

• Effectively resolve Workplace Technology Service Incidents and Requests keeping the customer always updated on progress and within SLAs guidelines.
• Follow request management process and governance.
• Take ownership of documentation regarding support issues and requests and ensure that this is accurate and maintained.
• Ensure all relevant security & management tools are operational and exceptions are managed.
• Meet all IT Asset Management process requirements in accordance with NBCU policy.
• General maintenance of all IT equipment including PC’s, Macs, Mobile Devices, Printers, Photocopiers, VOIP telephones and other hardware and software as required.
• Collaborate with International, US and local IT teams and Core NBCU business units as required.

Other Responsibilities

• Ensure all relevant IT equipment is encrypted in alignment with NBCU Policy.
• Undertake deployment refresh of IT equipment in alignment with the Asset Management NBCU International Policy.
• Ensure seamless data transferred between devices.
• Ensuring that any operational risks are reported and remediated in line with the agreed action plans.
• Manage IT Consumables in accordance with the corporate guidelines.
• Regular site visits to satellite offices to provide proactive IT support.

As part of Visa’s Strategy & Operations division, the Business Services Team (BST) is responsible for providing consistently reliable, high-quality support, data reporting management and process improvement to the Australian, New Zealand & South Pacific (AuNZSP) business.  Business Services does this by championing process excellence and implementation, providing superior executive administration support and delivering a high standard of site management services across three offices.  A Business Support Analyst provides comprehensive operations planning and program management support to the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) business function and plays a crucial role in accelerating the growth of our client-facing consulting and analytics services across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

The Visa Consulting & Analytics business function has five teams – Client Advisory, Consulting, Managed Services, Data Science and Business Support.  This role works closely with the VCA Business Support Director and also provides support to VCA project leads.

The Purpose:

The Technology Operations team provides operational support across multiple products, systems and applications in a multi-vendor 24/7 real-time payments processing environment. The team serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external operational and technical teams.

The primary objective of this role is to deliver extensive application and technical support for the tokenisation and 3DS services. Responsibilities include collaborating with testing and project teams, vendor support teams, customers and performing daily production support activities.

You will be responsible for:

• Undertake the day to day support activities and complete tasks within agreed service levels and in accordance with the documented procedures.
• Maintain the health of the supported applications through regular proactive monitoring and remediate any issues which impact application availability and performance.

In order for you to be successful in the role, you'll have:

• Minimum 3 years in an application support role or equivalent.
• Operational support experience in a 24/7 high availability, real-time payments processing environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud technology e.g. AWS, web services, Apigee API, IP-based protocols.
• Extensive knowledge of Unix/Windows OS, Jboss application server, Oracle SQL, Java.
• Experience with application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Datadog or Dynatrace.
• Exposure to automation tools e.g. Jenkins.
• Knowledge of payments processing environments – Connex switch,  payment gateway, tokenisation, EMV 3DS.
• Non-functional testing knowledge including documentation of implementation plans and results.
• Strong technical awareness and understanding of the mobile payments domain.
• Understanding of AS2805 format messaging would be beneficial.

As Junior Technical Support Advisor you will work closely with our app partners during their development phase with our API, guiding them through the most effective and efficient method based upon their individual product needs.
