We currently have an exciting opportunity for a driven and professional individual to join our accomplished team at Oaks Perth Hotel as the Conference Sales and Events Manager. 

In this newly created position, you will play a key role in coordinating the operations of conferences, events, weddings and social functions. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from planning and coordination to execution, ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. 

While this role will primarily centre around managing conferences and events at Oaks Perth Hotel initially, it presents the exciting prospect of expanding to offer support to Minor Hotels other properties across WA in future, offering extensive opportunities for career advancement. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Strengthen engagement with existing MICE partners for Oaks Perth Hotel
• Actively seek out new business opportunities that will contribute to increased account production for MICE at Oaks Perth Hotel
• Implementing strategies to drive occupancy and maximise revenue, ensuring maximum revenue in accordance with the conference marketing and strategy plan
• Maintain awareness of market rates for events and conference packages, ensuring the packages are competitive
• Organise and coordinate weddings, events, conferences, functions and groups, providing exceptional customer service at all times 
• Coordinate with Food and Beverage operations, ensuring a seamless level of service for all events 
• Liaise with vendors on event related matters, acting as the primary point of contact 
• Work closely with wider sales team to maximise opportunities, ensuring the appropriate Account Manager is including in correspondence and updated throughout the quoting process
• Attend local trade events to increase brand awareness of Minor Hotels

As Reservations manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum revenue through the effective selling of room reservations and other ancillary revenue to our guests via the telephone, e-mail or other channels deemed appropriate by the company.

You will manage the Reservations Sales Agents team and will establish ongoing on-job training programs within the department to achieve financial and service quality targets.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), APJ is a pivotal member of our field sales operations within the Cognizant Workday Practice.  You will drive our growth by focusing on generating new revenue and developing strategic plans to identify, prioritise and close key opportunities within the Australian market, with a particular emphasis on Mid-Enterprise Clients.

Working alongside a talented team of professionals, you will play a crucial role in guiding Australian businesses through their journey towards HCM and Financial transformation.  The RSM will build strong partnerships with our clients, lead our understanding of their objectives and co-ordinate our positioning of proposed consulting and delivery services. 

The RSM will lead the negotiation of contracts and effectively collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue growth and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage deal cycles across all clients.

Duties and Tasks

• Manage multiple, concurrent deal cycles maintaining accurate and timely client, pipeline, and forecast data.

• Manage a quarterly sales quota and maintain a 3X pipeline of quota.

• Provide support for marketing activities and events.

• Work with the internal Delivery team to develop estimates for work and position us ahead of Cognizant competitors.
