The main duties of a Risk Manager is:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Analyst (SRMA) with Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) expertise to join our busy and expanding Sydney-based Infrastructure team, who are advising clients on a range of high-profile infrastructure projects across Australia. This role will suit a Senior Risk Analyst who is skilled in developing QRAs from a rail, aviation, water/utilities, energy or defence background with proven experience of QCRA and QSRA compilation and a detailed understanding of risk management processes.

The Senior Risk Analyst will coordinate the compilation of the necessary project and risk data, model this at a package and project level to provide probabilistic certainty to the project. The SRMA will provide reports on the QRA modelling and scenario outcomes.

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the QRA risk modelling function on a complex infrastructure project. In addition to providing quantitative risk modelling assessments, the SRMA will be required to undertake sensitivity and scenario analyses. 

The SRMA will work with the PMO and Delivery Teams to collate all QRA inputs. The SRMA will ensure the quality and validation of all inputs and that all outputs are accurate.

The main duties of a Senior Risk Analyst is:

• Conduct QRAs to inform project contingency levels and track risk exposure.
• Provide QRA sensitivity and scenario modelling analyses.
• Candidates will have an expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Produce risk dashboards, reports and PowerPoints, in a timely manner, to support the presentation of QRA results.

• Ability to identify and implement value engineering initiatives and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports and plans.
• Strong commercial forecasting (including anticipated final account and cash flow).
• Agree Bill of Quantities rates and final accounts.
• Complete site surveillance reports and diaries and review contractor’s progress reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders i.e schedulers/planners, finance, risk.
• Help/Assist in reviewing monthly contractor payment claim submission for major contracts.

• Analyse historic data and interpret future demand projections for the purposes of developing service planning documents and projected facility requirements.
• Undertake the consultation for and the development of Health Services Plans, regional and local, and Assumptions Papers underpinning Services Plans.
• Develop Services Delivery Plans.
• Coordination and drafting of Business Cases and other reports as necessary.
• Preparation of Functional Briefs and further develop Models of Care arising from services planning.
• Develop Schedules of Accommodation (spatial requirements) and provide functional relationship diagrams in response to client operational requirements.
• Develop operational procedures briefing documentation.
• Facilitate and document stakeholder/client consultation sessions and issues resolution.
• Make recommendations on necessary code, standards and guidelines requirements.

As a Senior Consultant, you will support, and in some cases lead, Consulting commission, taking responsibility for client engagement and team leadership for both our clients and team, including: 

• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support NSW Advisory growth strategy.
• Collaborate with our wider business to understand industry and client challenges and develop innovative propositions and proposals to solve these challenges.
• Establish and nurture client relationships through effective communication and understanding their needs. Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights to drive client success and satisfaction.
• Provide expert guidance in designing, planning, and setting up projects and programs for success ensuring alignment to our client’s objectives.
• Proven ability to understand client needs, articulate value propositions, and deliver tailored solutions that result in long-term partnerships.
• To act as day-to-day client consultant, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards. 
• Producing clear, concise, and persuasive client-facing reports or deliverables in various formats that deliver to client expectations and demonstrate value.
