As our next Front Office Manager reporting directly to the General Manager, you will:

• Lead the Front Office Team to deliver peak moments to our guests

As Duty Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist with the management of all operational departments as required

We are currently seeking a full time Reservations Manager to lead our fantastic reservations team. Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, this role will see you ensuring that the correct procedures are used in receiving, processing and confirming hotel reservations, working closely with our Director of Revenue in ensuring maximum yield.

Particular responsibilities will include: 

• Lead and support the reservations team, providing guidance and resolving queries.
• Respond promptly to reservation requests, ensuring accurate recording in the system.
• Maintain the Opera Reservations system, updating rates, availability, and mail messages.
• Review no-shows and provide follow-up details to the Assistant Manager.
• Ensure all reservations are up to date in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Verify regular client reservations for accuracy and quick check-ins.
• Monitor occupancy, apply stop-sell in PMS when needed, and inform relevant departments.
• Manage group reservations, ensuring accuracy in rooming lists and special requests.
• Reconfirm arrivals and pass necessary information to the Front Desk.
• Maintain and update guest history, sharing insights with management.
• Anticipate busy periods, manage allotments, and ensure proper utilization.
• Apply yield management practices and participate in monthly strategy meetings.
• Verify rate manuals and ensure accuracy of rates in the system.

Reporting to the Director of Reservations and Revenue, the Reservations Manager is a key player in managing inventory of Pullman, Novotel and ibis Sydney Olympic Park with 545 rooms in total. 

You will passionately train and lead our team to success, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations for the Reservations department.

Reporting to the F&B Operations Manager, the Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager duties will include;

• Providing leadership and support to our F&B team, empowering them to create exceptional experiences for our guests
• Developing your team and coaching them on internal procedures and service culture
• Liaising with all internal stakeholders to allow for the effective operation of our Restaurant & Bar
• Be a 'Service Spotter' ensuring the Restaurant & Bar environment is well maintained, clean and everything is ready for service
