You will be part of a dedicated Crew consisting of multiple squads where with other coaches you are expected to lead and develop a Crew level coaching plan that drives continuous improvement, delivery maturity and maximises continuous flow of valuable outcomes through the squads in a sustainable manner aligning to agile principles and Group's improved way of thinking, planning and working at CommBank known as PACE to help us achieve our NPS +30 customer goal.

Core Responsibilities

• Supports teams to scale and consistently adopt emerging best practices.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an agile environment

• You are  someone who embodies the growth mindset and is passionate about agile ways of working and Coaching others

• You are a Critical Thinker and a pragmatist when it comes to leading teams through complexity & Software Delivery phases and are capable to drive incremental agile mindset and practices improvements sustainably through ongoing training.

• You’re actively involved in industry agile communities, conferences and groups

• Have advanced understanding of agile practices, principles and thinking

• Have experience in coaching teams and programs across various initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the operations team - mechanics, delivery drivers & yard team 
• Scheduling services on all equipment 
• Co-ordinating equipment maintenance & repairs with mechanical team
• Organising on site repairs & breakdowns
• Ensure deliveries & collections are keeping to schedules 
• Checking equipment is going through all the returns & ready for rental procedures.
• Assist with office staff booking in machines, answering phone calls & preparing rental agreements & off hires

Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia develop and execute a national flying program on behalf of the Australian Border Force and provide 24/7 Search & Rescue support to the Australian Maritime Search Authority. Reporting to the Day of Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination and support of daily flying operations and aircrew rosters. The role works 12.5-hour shifts as part of a rotating shift roster. 

We are initially looking at a 9 month contract position, with a high likelihood to extend.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all activities are conducted compliantly in line with standard operating procedures and meet all regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Monitor and maximise operational performance and revenue within the scope of the role.
• Proactively seek efficiency gains and continuously look for ways to improve the role.
• Ensure that any policy breaches are reported to the Day of Operations Manager.
• Liaise with client organisations on operational issues.
• Liaise with Base Managers on the execution of the flying program, maintenance of aircraft and management of aircrews.
• Coordinate the recovery of aircraft breakdowns and other operational limitations that affect the aircraft flying schedule.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the Day of Operations Manager.
