Position Overview: Randstad have partnered with a market leading packaging solutions provider who are currently seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator to join their tight knit supportive team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of packaging machinery by coordinating the procurement and distribution of spare parts. You will work closely with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels, respond to parts requests promptly, and ensure timely delivery to minimise downtime for clients.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate the procurement of spare parts for packaging machinery, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing orders.
Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory levels and track usage to anticipate future needs.
Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams to prioritise parts requests and ensure timely fulfilment.
Monitor delivery schedules and liaise with suppliers to expedite orders as needed to minimise equipment downtime.
Develop and implement efficient processes for spare parts management to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs.
Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and clients regarding spare parts inquiries.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in spare parts coordination or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of packaging machinery and spare parts terminology is an asset.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management software.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
