Your New Role

We have an opportunity to support a multi-year program to the Australian Defence Force working as a Relationship Manager/Process Analyst.

The role primarily focuses on working with the customer, managing relationships and mapping out their processes. A love for working onsite, embedded with the customer is key to success in this role. There is no opportunity to work remotely.

Other aspects of the role:

• Define and document user problems, needs and/or enhancements opportunities.
• Capture and model current and planned business processes.
• Conduct user liaison for ICT activities including software development.
• Coordinate and manage engagements with relevant stakeholders, including support teams, end users, and other involved in business analyst activities.
• Provide feedback on areas for improvement within existing business processes, and support Organisational Change Management. 
• Contribute to, improve, and enable delivery and escalation processes.
• Support Change Management activities and the transition of solutions into production and operational use.
• Develop plans, procedures, work instructions, manuals and other technical documentation for use by target staff.

Orrcon Steel is looking for an Operations Manager to join our brand new Pipe and Tube mill team based in Unanderra. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

The Pipe and Tube mill in Unanderra is Orrcon Steels newest capability. Opening at the end of June this year, this cutting-edge facility represents a significant milestone in our commitment to innovation and excellence in steel manufacturing. Equipped with the latest technology, this is a unique opportunity to join our team.

This is a newly added role to our team structure. Still being in ‘start-up’ phase, you’re someone who is excited by the opportunity to impart your Manufacturing Excellence knowledge. • proven ability to continuously improve business processes
• a customer centric approach with an aptitude to translate customers key requirements into new and improved product service solutions
• an understanding of the linkage between production, supply chain and logistics streams and the ability to develop strategies which align our current capability with our customers and market requirements
• demonstrated commercial acumen including the ability to understand and manage budgets
