Your new role
As the Operations Manager, you will be overseeing all aspects of landfill operations including waste disposal, landfill gas capture, compaction, waste acceptance and compliance with regulations/licences. You will lead a team committed to maintaining high standards of environmental compliance and operational efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline; Engineering, Environmental or Science. Proven experience in waste management and landfill operations desirable Heavy plant and equipment experience Civil construction experience beneficial Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance Excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving and strategic planning skills Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to manage budgets and drive cost-effective operations
