We are looking for a Manager, Solution Specialists to join our dynamic team. This leadership role will oversee a team of Solution Specialists who are product champions and subject matter experts, ensuring that our customers fully realize the value of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both managing teams and working in a technical, customer-facing capacity. This role is critical in driving our growth by developing and managing a team that supports sales initiatives, drives customer adoption, and champions product solutions.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia, and we are looking for someone to start immediately.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Solution Specialists to support our sales organization and customers effectively. Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Drive Sales and Customer Success: Collaborate with the sales team to drive deal closure by providing technical expertise and developing strategic account plans. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and help them achieve business performance gains using our platform.
- Product Expertise and Advocacy: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for our product suite, particularly in specialized areas such as Financial Management. Ensure the team is equipped with deep product knowledge and best practices for demos, objection handling, and ROI discussions.
- Process Improvement and Reporting: Establish and refine processes for tracking team involvement in the sales lifecycle, forecasting, and improving internal communications and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer needs are met and provide feedback on product development. Partner with Sales Leadership to develop strategic plans for account growth.
- Drive Product Adoption: Collaborate with Customer Success Engineers to drive product adoption, reduce churn, and identify cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in technical B2B sales, with SaaS experience preferred.
- 3+ years in a management or leadership role, ideally overseeing a technical team.
- Proven experience in managing sales processes and driving team performance.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), MS Office, and Google Applications.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team towards peak performance.
- Experience with complex sales cycles and understanding of enterprise technology environments.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build trusted relationships with customers.
- Experience in the construction, financial technology, or similar industries is a plus.
