Control Risks' Embedded Consulting Practice is growing in Sydney, Australia, and we have a great opportunity for someone with a few good years of business continuity experience to join us.

Working as part of a dedicated team, this role will be embedded within a leading tech sector client and will provide holistic Business Continuity services including proactive consultation, guidance, and direct support to corporate and other stakeholders as required.

Responsibilities will involve:

Executing the BC strategy as developed by the Head of Corporate BC and Regional BC managers.
Working with regional business teams to conduct business impact and risk assessments, identify critical services, define recovery objectives, and map critical dependencies.
Working with business teams to document BC plan needs in Corporate Continuity tool to drive consistency and attestation.
Partnering with the Business, and Global Real Estate and Facilities team to coordinate recovery strategies as identified through the Business Continuity planning process.
Facilitating business continuity exercises and tests, to identify potential gaps in plans, as well as functionality of work transference processes supporting recovery.
Work with large amounts of data and create meaningful reports
Support in launching and maintaining tools and POC for conducting trainings
Liaison with support teams to implement the program
Supporting workplace resilience initiatives by working with multiple stakeholders to include facilities, business continuity, information technology, security and crisis management, for the purpose of seamlessly integrating within the disaster response cycle, as required.

4+ years' experience implementing and managing business continuity or risk management programs
Ability to travel across assigned regions and internationally as needed.

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), Business Continuity Institute (BCI), or other business continuity professional certification
Experience with commercial Business Continuity tools
Experience managing and analyzing data from various sources to align to strategic goals
Experience in responding to significant disruptive events.
Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and technology challenges in order to identify risks and opportunities.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision making.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple complex projects.

Our Mission

The Team

What you will do?

Explore Growth Opportunities and Architect the Lyka Growth Model: Dive into data to unveil growth possibilities using proactive insights and develop metrics to influence team rituals and decision-making.

Data Collaboration and Analytics Leadership: Work collaboratively with the Engineering team and stakeholders for seamless data capture, transformation, and storage, taking charge of ad-hoc analytical products and projects across the business.

Data Integrity and Automate Success: Ensure clean and normalised datasets by tackling data integrity challenges and build automated models on large datasets to measure results and predict outcomes.

Data Empowerment: Promote data enablement throughout the Lyka team, spreading the magic of meaningful insights.

Boasting 2+ years of experience in a data-centric role, you thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.

Your experience includes delivering insights, partnering with growth-oriented teams, and understanding the art of experimentation.

While experience with data tools is a plus (our current stack is BigQuery, dbt (core), Tableau, Hightouch and PopSQL), eagerness to learn is equally valued in our dynamic environment.

Team Administration

Actively maintain the accuracy and completeness of Agreements, Configuration items, Risk Registers. Action Registers, Service Catalogue.
Assist in maintaining asset register and updating asset processes.
ConnectWise related administration tasks including creating and updating recurring tickets to support delivery of managed services.
Assist with resource coordination including shift and on-call rosters, payroll updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to contribute towards areas where processes can be optimized.

Proven experience in Service Delivery or related area.

Local experience engaging and interacting with various level of business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies.
Proficiency in using relevant software applications, such as ConnectWise.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
Experience working in an ITIL/ITSM framework and certification in ITIL.

About the Role The APS3 Participant Support Officer is a team membership position and is responsible for setting priorities and managing work flow for their role and producing work that is subject to regular monitoring by more senior NDIA positions within their management structure. The position will undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities. The position may have a public contact role and may be required to communicate with and provide straightforward advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
