What you’ll do

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of critical tasks:

• Delve into customers' IT landscapes, understanding their requirements and processes to drive full adoption of Aternity's solutions, maximizing ROI and business impact.
• Offer specialized planning and design expertise in digital experience monitoring, application performance troubleshooting, and end-user performance analysis.
• Gather crucial end-user and application performance data for effective troubleshooting.
• Develop scripts to enhance Aternity's EUEM capabilities for metric collection and remediation.
• Configure precise measurements for end-user activities and backend application transactions, ensuring accuracy and validity.
• Articulate and present advanced product features, benefits, and comprehensive solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate directly with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, working on-site or remotely to achieve project objectives.
• Resolve performance issues for both Windows and Apple-based platforms, generating budget-sensitive solutions to meet customer needs.
  
  

What you’ll bring

Desired Technical Skills:

• Ideally, hands-on experience with ATERNITY or similar products (e.g., Lakeside Systrack, Nexthink,).
• Proficiency in network and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis is highly preferable.
• Sound understanding of common application architecture frameworks, distributed mechanisms, and messaging components.
• Familiarity with IT methodologies for software deployment and change in enterprise settings.
• Programming skills in PowerShell, Python, C++, Golang, Rust, or similar languages.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of J2EE and/or .NET internals.
• Strong technical skills in SQL and XML, complemented by an understanding of network/HTML/HTTP traffic.

• While expertise in all these areas isn't expected, a high-level understanding of their functionality and interrelationships is crucial.
• Basic administrative skills for these technologies are a plus.

About the Role

The Endpoint Engineering team assists companies by supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practises to follow and implement. The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience. You will problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how these products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. What you will do

As a SOE Engineer, you will be responsible, but not limited to:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including SCCM and Intune
• Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory – Group Policy Management
• Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
• Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and end point configuration
• Experience with facilitating large and enterprise scale software deployments
• Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts through enterprise grade endpoint management platforms (Intune/SCCM)
• Experience with Packaging desktop applications and configure them for streamlined deployment

• Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team

You will have 5 years’ IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approximately 3 years’ experience in a similar SOE Engineer role. You will possess exceptional knowledge of Windows 10, 11. Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS, certificate services and Enterprise applications. You will have exceptional skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune, Jamf, and Azure Virtual Desktop). The Sales engineer will work with enterprise customers to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles within these accounts. Sales Engineers must have solid communication skills, sales ability, technical expertise, and work well in a team, or independently.  This position will require relationship building with all technical buyers at the end user level and with Enterprise Service Providers and Certified Solution Providers.

The Sales Engineer must be well versed in the technical and sales aspects of the March Networks product and third party products that the March product will integrate with in each vertical.  Communication of complicated technical material to customers on demand is a requirement.

• Assist in the generation of new business and ensure growth of existing accounts through technical knowledge of the March products and subsequent third-party product integration
• Communicate customer feedback into future product developments
• Assist sales account managers by answering technical questions, making technical presentations, and managing customer trials through phone, email, and on-site visits
• Evaluate and integrate 3rd party devices
• Provide effective interfaces into existing and emerging opportunities and external partners
• Leverage relationships within organizations to solve technical hurdles and foster awareness of our products and solutions
• Assess potential application of company products and services and offers solutions to meet customer needs
• Install, configure and test our solution at customer’s facilities during Proof of Concepts
• Interface with various customers at both a business and a technical level and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings
• Assist with the development of our channel partners. This may include conducting joint account calls, updating their technical staff on new products and features, and working with them to develop solutions for customers
• Provide technical training to end users and Certified Solution Providers

Experience and Qualifications:

• College or University Degree in a business or technical discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in networks, WAN, LAN, Wireless and Wired Communication networks, Client/server knowledge, ERP systems, and CCTV/video surveillance equipment
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in order to communicate effectively with various levels of personnel in an organization, including technical and executive
• Proven track record in providing customer satisfaction
• Understanding of how all facets of a manufacturing organization operates

About the Role, and Why it is a GREAT Step for You!

Datacom operations are seeking an Operations Centre Engineer whose role is to monitor systems including Windows, UNIX, Database, Cloud and backups in real-time on a 24x7x365 rotational basis and able to troubleshoot/triage/resolve events or escalating to specialist’s teams for resolution. You will receive a standby allowance for when offshift and when called in to cover, all hours are considered overtime. There is a shift allowance of 12.5% on all working hours too so that standard pay is as uniform as possible, regardless of if you are day or night shift.

It is essentially just above an entry-level role, so don't let the title scare you off! We do still need people with IT experience - the role is perfect for those who have done service desk or desktop engineering work - but note that this is still an associate level position. It is seen as a transitionary role and a great stepping stone to get into higher level IT roles, as has happened with many of our staff since the teams' inception 4 years ago. After working in this role, you should be able to handle the business critical tasks and changes while you have time to focus on any certifications you are interested in. You can really showcase your skills ihere and be involved with the technologies that you want to be involved with, initially at a lower level but you can steadily increase your utilisation of other, higher technologies as you grow and develop.

About the Role, and Why it is a GREAT Step for You!

Datacom operations are seeking an Operations Centre Engineer whose role is to monitor systems including Windows, UNIX, Database, Cloud and backups in real-time on a 24x7x365 rotational basis and able to troubleshoot/triage/resolve events or escalating to specialist’s teams for resolution. You will receive a standby allowance for when offshift and when called in to cover, all hours are considered overtime. There is a shift allowance of 12.5% on all working hours too so that standard pay is as uniform as possible, regardless of if you are day or night shift.

It is essentially just above an entry-level role, so don't let the title scare you off! We do still need people with IT experience - the role is perfect for those who have done service desk or desktop engineering work - but note that this is still an associate level position. It is seen as a transitionary role and a great stepping stone to get into higher level IT roles, as has happened with many of our staff since the teams' inception 4 years ago. After working in this role, you should be able to handle the business critical tasks and changes while you have time to focus on any certifications you are interested in. You can really showcase your skills ihere and be involved with the technologies that you want to be involved with, initially at a lower level but you can steadily increase your utilisation of other, higher technologies as you grow and develop.

In this role, you will:

• Determine the training requirements for various teams.
• Develop training materials including video tutorials, guidelines and SOP’s
• Determine instructional methods such as individual training, online, face to face, demonstrations, meetings and workshops
• Customer service training as well as personal development for employees
• Foster the highest level of  customer service both internally and externally to contribute to customer growth and satisfaction

Essential criteria:

• Nationally recognised Certificate IV Training & Assessment or other relative discipline
• Previous experience in training in a similar role
• Be able to travel to deliver training
• Confidence in delivering training across all levels of the business
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications

Desirable criteria:

• Possess solid business acumen
• Have the experience to show proven results in performance improvement
• Proficiency in Genesys pure cloud application
