The Opportunity

We have an opportunity available for a Senior People Advisor to join our Workforce Services team. Within this role you will partner with a dedicated HRBP to support an aligned client group within the business. You will be instrumental in working within a collaborative team to allocate workflow, cases and tasks across the Tier 1 HR service model. You will proactively partner with your client group on all employee matters. There is opportunity for the successful incumbent to have exposure to Employee relations work so an interest or qualification in this area would be highly regarded.

To do this successfully you will:

• Provide end to end HR services including Tier 1 support, case management (including performance management) and coach People Leaders on employee matters.
• Coordinate workflow within the People Advisory and HR Business Processes
• Provide employee centric services in alignment with the  People & Culture Service Delivery Model; assessing and handling query volumes, response times and performance to SLA’s
• Be able to own and resolve colleague and People Leader case escalations
• Build and improve the quality of Tier 0 Knowledge Base Articles and Workday content making sure the content remains current, useful, consistent and accessible
• Adapt an employee experience focussed, continuous improvement practice to improve processes, process documentation and data accuracy.
• Develop excellent working relationships across the P&C team and the broader business at both a people leader and employee level
• Work closely with the Employee Relations and Policy Manager to provide additional support in this space as required

Successful applications will demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Law or similar
• Previous experience working in a role within HR service delivery and in HR Service Desk Management
• Prior Workday experience in handling HR data, queries and knowledge management
• A high level understanding of HR principles and practices with the confidence to make recommendations and improvements and implement them optimally
• Exceptional customer engagement skills across senior leadership and employees

About the role

• This opening is for a Transport Administrator / Customer Service Officer to join our team in Murarrie

• This is a Full time, Permanent Role. The working hours for this role are 10:00 – 18:00  

• Manage customer and client freight queries with key clientele

About the Role

The Service Desk Advisor is primarily responsible for being the first point of contact for all staff and external managed clients. You will cover a wide variety of incidents and requests across a vast array of technologies which will always keep you on your toes and see you never stop learning and building skills and knowledge. 

As part of the helpdesk team, you will be required to assist in maintaining Southern Phones Asset Management & Knowledge Base systems. Every day sees you bringing your exceptional customer service and time management skills to always stay on top of incoming requests whilst meeting SLA requirements.

• End User devices (Desktop, Laptop, Mobile)

The CAR Group Tax team is growing and we are looking for our newest team member: a talented and driven Senior Tax Advisor. If you’re an established Big 4 Senior Analyst or Junior Manager looking to make your first move to industry, or an industry tax professional looking to make your next move, this role could be perfect for you. Reporting to the Group Tax manager, you will be part of an integral team of tax professionals who roll up their sleeves and support the global CAR Group business in the following areas:

• Ensuring tax compliance across our global group of companies (tax effect accounting, financial reporting, income tax, FBT and BAS reviews) is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensuring internal tax reporting is completed monthly
• Undertaking regular risk reviews to ascertain that business positions taken are consistent with the group tax risk framework
• Research and draft tax papers to support tax positions taken by the business.

This role works closely with our Organisational Development Manager and our Learning Partner to enable our annual development programs. The role is key in supporting the coordination of annual learning plan and our in-house development programs. The role will collaborate with business stakeholders and support our business to share learning offerings with our workforce.  This role will have a key part to play in our business transformation, working on project work such as reviewing our current eLearning offerings and ensuring fit for purpose, and participating in our Strategic HRIS (plus LMS) development and implementation.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate learning activity such as learning calendar management, program catering and venue coordination, collating feedback and implementing enhancements to programs as required
• Support our Learning Partner with coordination of new or refreshed content into the LMS.
• Manage enterprise-wide training requirements (annual compliance training), including developing communication plans and reporting on compliance

• On-going auditing, monitoring and improvement of security controls, including the development of Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA), System Security Plans (SSP), and Security Risk Management plans (SRMP).
• ISO27K framework and knowledge of building and running an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Providing guidance, education, and training to ensure adherence and compliance (people, processes, and technology)

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience in information security, audit, assurance, governance, risk or compliance and a sound understanding of information security principles, polices and standards

• The GRC Advisor must have a detailed knowledge of agency-specific and Australian Government protective security policy, principles, and minimum standards, and be provided with opportunity to maintain this knowledge
• Understanding of contract deliverables and obligations
• Some technical knowledge to make informed decisions about business risks from vulnerabilities
• Ideally, you will be industry certified and may even hold a CISSP, CISM, MS or equivalent certifications.
