To spearhead this, we’re looking for a whip smart and proactive Senior Account Director who can stun our clients with leadership, creativity, vision, and eloquence.

The transformation you will experience
This presents an incredible opportunity for you to join forces with one of Digitas' flagship clients who view the agency as a seamless extension of their marketing team. Assuming the role of Senior Account Director, you'll be the face of the business, championing our CRM & CX program, and entrusted with the planning, management, and delivery aspects of the client account. You will leverage your expertise to lead and empower a large cross-functional team in collaboration with the Client Partner, with the goal to deliver exceptional work in alignment with the account plans you craft and regularly update.
As the key client engagement lead, you'll strategically manage and influence senior stakeholders both within and outside the agency. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the fulfilment of both agency and client needs. Working closely with top-level client stakeholders, you'll intimately understand their personal and professional goals, acting as a true partner in helping them achieve these KPIs. Your influence will extend to setting the tone, pace, and energy of the Client Service team, elevating standards, and consistently surpassing client expectations.
In this role, you won't just guide and mentor a team; you'll be instrumental in driving client growth and ensuring the team's overall satisfaction. Your decisions will not only prioritise client happiness but will also be commercially and strategically sound, contributing to the overall success of our collaborative efforts.
Your scope will include:
- Partnering with the client to develop their goals and CRM/CX strategies; taking and shaping medium/large briefs, adding strategic value, and ensuring that they get the best results from the whole agency team
- Empowering cross-capability teams to deliver creative thinking and powerful ideas across digital ecosystems and customer experiences that create measurable impact and meet client objectives
- Developing strategic presentations alongside the Strategy team
- Planning workload and, refining and defining process with a focus on quality
- Overseeing agency output and ensuring work is being developed to a high standard
- Attending key client stand ups and sharing a POV
- Acting as a mentor and trusted advisor to the Client Service team
- Maintaining and developing key client and interagency relationships. Keeping sustainable, long-term client relationships by mitigating risk and ensuring account profitability
- Championing CX & CRM within the business, proactively driving innovation and new opportunities for growth

What type of person will be successful in this role?
- Solid background as an integrated marketer, ideally in an agency environment, with expertise spanning digital, CRM, CX and marketing automation
- Strong knowledge of enterprise level CRM/automation systems preferred (i.e., Salesforce)
- Excellent at building and maintaining client relationships
- Outstanding analytical skills and strategic thinking – you’re strong on both IQ and EQ, and are as practiced at reading data as you are at reading clients
- Effective time-management, impeccable organisation, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes
- Proven project management and performance management skills – you’re known for your ability to coach and develop talent, inspire, and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate effectively
- Superb communication and presentation skills – you’re articulate, succinct, and engaging
- Demonstrated budget management and resource planning experience
- A passion for customer experience and digital first thinking.
