Team summary:

As part of Visa’s Strategy & Operations division, the Business Services Team (BST) is responsible for providing consistently reliable, high-quality support, data reporting management and process improvement to the Australian, New Zealand & South Pacific (AuNZSP) business.  Business Services does this by championing process excellence and implementation, providing superior executive administration support and delivering a high standard of site management services across three offices.  A Business Support Analyst provides comprehensive operations planning and program management support to the Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) business function and plays a crucial role in accelerating the growth of our client-facing consulting and analytics services across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

The Visa Consulting & Analytics business function has five teams – Client Advisory, Consulting, Managed Services, Data Science and Business Support.  This role works closely with the VCA Business Support Director and also provides support to VCA project leads.

Key duties:

• Oversee management of client and supplier contracts, work statement administration, track VCA revenue, and manage internal tools.  Establish pricing and supplier agreements. 
• Manage the VCA business tracking process and reporting, including pipeline reviews, preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Drive the industrialisation of VCA processes by supporting the implementation of initiatives, including knowledge management, training, culture-related activities, and improving operational efficiency.
• Provide executive-level administrative support to the Head of Visa Consulting & Analytics, including scheduling, communication, project management and logistics for VCA team events held throughout the year.
• Embrace a team-based environment and mindset, through contributing collaboratively, mentoring, and supporting individuals in the BST who also provide business solutions to the AuNZSP business.
• Participate in weekly BST meetings, share knowledge and status of current activities.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points and needs.
• Action requests submitted from the wider AuNZSP team into the BST’s team workflow portal.
• Build and deliver improved capabilities for the business by analyzing existing processes, investigating gaps and pain-points, identifying and testing solutions, tracking key measures of success, providing training and document processes, key learnings and best practices that can be referenced across the business.

• Investigating the causes of earthquakes and stress states in the Earth's crust.
• Conducting laboratory and field research, including aerial and ground surveys.
• Performing studies in both controlled environments and natural settings.
• Executing surveys using aerial, ground, and drill hole techniques.
• Participating in other tasks assigned by your manager.
Skills and experience required:
• Minimum 2 years working experience in the exploration of coal and coal seam gas deposit and research, Chinese coal mines preferred
• Understanding about China's coal industry development and research management model
• Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degrees in Mineral Prospecting and Exploration.
