JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive medical sales professional with ambition and high energy to join our Diabetes Team as a Territory Specialist.

This role is responsible for the promotion of our life changing technology to Health Care Professionals in Sydney Central, Inner City & West Regional NSW (Dubbo, Parkes, Forbes).

Abbott’s life changing glucose monitoring technology is rapidly changing the management of insulin using patients living with diabetes within Australia.  The successful candidate will be accountable to exceed sales targets by executing the business strategy, proactively meeting the dynamic needs of the marketplace and by building superior partnerships with HCP’s that bring value to our customers and enhance patient lives.

Your responsibilities include (and not limited to):

• Maintaining a high level of competence in FreeStyle Libre (and its digital products platform) competitor products disease states and industry compliance
• Demonstrating proficiency in tools of the trade, processes and policies
• Developing sales action plans in line with the marketing strategy and evaluate and track the implementation of these on an ongoing basis
• Planning, executing and analysing sales calls to create call-continuity with customers
• Promoting value-add services that improve the quality of care available to patients and creating solutions to meet customer needs
• Diagnosing and tracking key customer and competitor performance regularly
• Collaborating with the broader Abbott team to identify new opportunities

Who we’re looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in a Science discipline is essential
• Relevant industry experience (both Primary Care and Hospital) in medical devices, however, strong customer facing experience as a pharmacist will be highly regarded
• Proven track record in delivering sales targets with demonstrated proficiency with selling skills in a sales framework is advantageous
• Business acumen and analytical skills
• Customer-centric mindset, active listening, genuine empathy and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service to internal and external customers
• Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
• Initiative and pro-activity to develop account strategies and challenge the status quo whilst identifying new business opportunity

Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative, you are the first person with whom our prospective customers interact and you’re responsible for that all-important first impression. You identify if there is a good fit between Glofox and the prospect, answer their questions, and get them excited about taking the next steps to becoming a valued customer. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, entrepreneurial person, who is looking to kickstart a successful career in sales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

·        Identify and create new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads

·        Achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities

·        Engage with customers via phone, email, and web chat to analyse their needs, answer their questions, and handle any objections

·        Create a great first impression by providing all prospects with a world-class experience from the word go

·        Ensure that prospects for whom we can add value are excited to move forward with us, and those for whom we aren’t the right solution still walk away with a positive experience

·        Pass qualified opportunities over to our Account Executives

·        Follow-up with prospects to help uncover new opportunities and nurture existing leads

·        Become an expert in our product offering and the dynamics of the fitness industry

·        Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to improve lead quality and conversion

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

·        Bachelor’s Degree

·        1-2 years’ software sales / marketing experience

·        Great work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit

·        Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·        Fluency in English

·        Interest in the fitness industry a plus

·        Team player and ability to work in a high-energy sales environment

·        Strong desire to learn and develop quickly

·        Strong desire to build a career in sales
