How you will make a difference

• Arrange the disbursal & collection of loans via the company’s Loan Mgmt System.

• Ensure all incoming documents are in line with compliance requirements.

• Verify information as per company & banking policy prior to final settlement.

• Communicating directly with clients, suppliers, vendors, other internal teams & external partners.

• Completing reconciliations as required.

• Maintain, manage, & update settlement data.

• Ensuring the company adheres to AML, CTF & internal risk requirements.

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will ensure absolute accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining a high standard of compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to suppliers queries in a timely manner, to satisfy their requests, while considering Accor’s payment cycles.
• Communication with Pacific Office and hotel queries on status of invoice payments.
• Verify and capture invoice data in Concur Invoice.
• Facilitate new supplier credential verification using EFTSure.
• Ensure invoice accuracy, correct GST, account codes, bank details, and approved purchase orders.
• Review corporate credit card and employee reimbursements.
• Prevent duplicate accounting or payments.
• Process foreign currency invoices outside of Concur Invoice.
• Post cashbook journals for payments promptly.
• Process monthly expense claims in Concur.
• Compile FCM data for accurate GL posting and payments.
• Set up foreign currency and EFT payments.
• Perform supplier reconciliations and address vendor payment queries.
• Assist with standard and ad-hoc supplier invoice recharges.
• Account for gift-card redemption and complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support FBT transactions reporting and anti-corruption controls.
• Contribute to finance team meetings, system improvements, and training programs.

• Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
• Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
• Operate telephone effectively, handling all calls promptly and professionally, greeting all callers according to Accor policy.
• Complete the daily shift check list, referring any items that require follow up to the Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager.
• Transfer all details on the registration card to the guest reservation in Opera accurately and efficiently, ensuring that future stays are updated with relevant needs and requests.
• Be versed in the VIP arrivals and special requests for the day. 
• Have extensive knowledge of the Opera Front Office system with respect to reservations, check in, cashiering and check out.
• Have an extensive knowledge of the hotel services and facilities. 
• Demonstrate the “Passion for Excellence” through serving our guests with flair and professionalism, ensuring that their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
• Ensure all guests are provided with personalised service and that the “Essence of Pleasure” is achieved.
• Embody the art of French hospitality through a “can do” attitude.
