Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established organizations, my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team due to remarkable growth. This is a permanent full time position.
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, your main responsibilities will be end to end accounting tasks but not limited to:
Manage, review and perform routine functions related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including preparation and processing of invoices and payments (for suppliers, claimants and employee expense reimbursements)
Prepare all documents for accounts processing- sales orders, etc
Prepare and maintain Superannuation records
Prepare and maintain payroll including updating of award information payroll taxation FBT expense schedule and taxation returns for FBT
Collections, Debtors reporting to Sanden Corporation
BAS payment
Processing of monthly reconciliations
Transact overseas payments - bank transfers
Month end processing according to task master schedule
Records management and filing
Perform other duties and support Accountant as and when required
Ideal Profile
To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function:
Diploma / Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent work experience - MUST be a Diploma or Degree completed in Australia - this is a MUST HAVE
1-2 years or more related to accounting duties in similar role
Exposure to large ERP systems - Pronto experience is desirable but not essential
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Great verbal and written skills
Open to fresh graduates with one year experience - must be a fast learner
Benefits
Immediate start role or open to someone who has notice period as well
$60,000 - $74,000 + Super (based on experience)
Onsite 5 days a week - no work from home flexibility
Onsite parking provided
Condell Park NSW 2200 location - South Western Sydney
