Your New Role
With a booming business undergoing positive change, the successful candidate will be required to work with and influence a full time and casual workforce to ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently and to our DIFOT requirements.
This business-critical position presents an outstanding opportunity for a strong communicator who is process driven, comfortable managing multiple tasks at once and is ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. We are looking for someone who has the wisdom and experience to know what must be done next, but who is also comfortable being “on the tools” in order to drive the desired outcomes.
Your Day to Day
- Lead the fulltime and casual workforce and ensure daily targets are achieved for picking and packing of customer orders.
- Lead and manage a support administrators across various functions.
- Act as the escalation point for any Team member, head office sales and/or customer service queries.
- Own and execute the KPI reporting process for the casual workforce ensuring eCommerce KPI’s and daily outputs are published, discussed and utilised as a means of performance management communication.
- Support the development, maintenance, and review of picking, assembly, packing and shipping SOPs.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
- Ensure all packing and deliveries are in line with customer requirements.
- Provide a safe working environment ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.
- Lead by example, mentor staff and provide active frontline management with pick and pack team members to ensure they are motivated, trained and competent to perform assigned tasks.
- Be available to support weekend shifts during peak trading periods.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the HOF.
Your Skills
- Previous supervisory experience within an operations or warehouse environment.
- People management experience and the ability to diffuse conflict and manage day to day incidents constructively and calmly.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a genuine ability to follow processes and procedures.
- Motivated team player and highly reliable with a willingness to do what must be done at any point in time.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate.
- Resilient with an ability to take on board feedback and quickly act on it.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and strive to continually improve safety performance.
- Strong eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to investigate discrepancies and process variances.
- Raise and resolve any unexpected issues that may cause delays with any customer orders in a timely manner.
