Our team are currently recruiting for a hybrid role of Contracts Asministrator & Project Coordinator. The role will be responsible for providing support to the projects team on a range of projects including providing support in managing variations, client concerns/questions and procurement. The role will be responsible for ensuring strong attention to detail as well as ensuring we meet key contractual and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and understand project contracts, specifications, and drawings.
  • Coordinate contract requirements with project managers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and manage subcontracts, change orders, and requests for information.
  • Support the project manager in monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve any contract-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Assist in negotiating and resolving claims and disputes with clients and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and assess project progress and quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, legal terminology, and contract law.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex information.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (Monday) and google office suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of commercial fitout regulations and building codes is a plus.
