We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Transport Supervisor to join our energetic team. In this position you will play a pivotal role in upholding our brand promise by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products by living our core value of WOW customers. This position is not just about to day-to-day tasks but also about immersing yourself in Jaybro’s Culture, embodying our core values so that you and your team consistently WOW Customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commitment to Health Safety leadership Quality, Environment & Compliance: Demonstrate personal safety and quality leadership as a priority through own actions and holding team members accountable to all HSEQ guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe and continuously improving working environment.
- Lead a team of A-Players: Lead a team of A- Players through providing operational guidance and leadership on tasks and responsibilities as well as coaching and providing feedback.
- Transport Operations Management: Overseeing employee drivers and company vehicles as well subcontracted couriers and freight carriers.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and lead initiatives to enhance fleet efficiency and processes. As well as identify, track and resolve issues as required.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate on-site projects and execute actions that may relate to local or national operations strategy and or continuous improvement.
- Management Reporting: Regular reporting and forecasting for management and site reporting.
