What will a day in this role look like: 

• In conjunction with the Clients & Marketing leadership team, design the annual communications strategy to support the ANZ business strategy, aligning with AECOM’s global communications plan.  
• Prioritise support to our ANZ Chief Executive, providing strategic senior communications counsel. 
• Lead and develop a small team of internal and external communications specialists to develop, deliver, and assess the impact of all internal and external communications priorities. Position this team as a trusted strategic advisor to the business. 
• Partner with regional, business line and support services leaders to align on communication opportunities, including strategic initiatives, organisational changes, firm-wide policies, corporate updates, and crisis management. 
• Provide direct communications support to key executives through insights, advice and reporting to drive engagement and maximise business performance. 

The Role

We are looking for a talented Digital & Marketing Executive to join our dedicated, fun and dynamic Sales & Marketing team at Novotel Sydney International Airport!

In this role you will;

• Develop and maintain strong SEO strategy, with a focus on accommodation, conferencing and The Marke Kitchen & Bar.
• Optimise all digital channels including but not limited to email marketing, SEO, online and internal partner channels, website and overall lever channels.
• Content creation and animation of social accounts including, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Twitter and LinkedIn
• Analyse media campaigns and rollout promotions to ensure optimum revenues are exceeded.
• Build rapport with team members as well as influencers, content producers and local partnerships

This high profile Executive Assistant role also provides broader team support to the Executive Management Team, namely the Tech & Services portfolio and the Finance & Commercial teams within Sodexo; a recognised leader in the provision of facilities management services within the mining sector, oil/gas & corporate sectors.

As the Executive Assistant you will provide proactive administrative support in an agile environment; operating with autonomy to drive the completion of tasks while aligning with a common structure across portfolios.

Supporting various members of the Country Leadership Team, this role carries responsibilities including:  

• Full administrative support; emails, memorandums, letters, reports and Power Point presentations to the Executive team
• Action, monitor, report and support Safety initiatives and audits
• Develop, construct and build key presentations and reports through liaison with key personnel
• Develop and drive consistent business deliverables and frameworks; such as yearly strategy planning, monthly updates & regional reporting
• Executive travel coordination
• Events & conference management & office function special events; including collaboration with national support offices to streamline service & events
• Manage day-to-day operations, monitoring cost reductions and maintaining allocated budget, coding and processing invoices
• Assist with legal, licencing tender and other confidential documentation

The Communications Officer for the Digital Transformation Program is a pivotal role designed to support the Program Director and Change Manager in executing effective communication strategies. The Communications Officer will play a crucial role in crafting and delivering compelling messages, managing communication channels, and fostering a positive communication culture throughout the program. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide consultancy to the Program Director and various areas of Council to ensure that strategic communication principles and plans are applied. 
• Provide specialist writing and editing for a range of communications materials and channels that are tailored for various external and internal audiences and stakeholders. 
• Champion the needs of the program, impacted staff to ensure effective and tailored communications and engagement for these groups, across Council Departments. 
• Monitor and improve the performance of communication activities against strategic priorities and Transformation objectives, in line with best practice tools and techniques.
• Identify proactive communications opportunities that provide tailored and targeted information for internal staff impacted by the changes from the digital program.
• Contribute to the development of high-level narratives, ensuring strong and consistent key messaging across all communications activities.
• Collaborate with the Change Manager to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for the program. Align communication strategies with change management objectives to ensure a synchronized approach. 
• Create clear, concise, and compelling messages related to the program. Ensure messaging is aligned with organizational goals, project objectives, and the overall change narrative. Tailor messages for different audiences. 

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive demonstrated experience in communications, public relations or marketing or a similar field. 
• Ability to plan, research, develop, implement, and evaluate communications strategies. 
• Demonstrated significant experience in the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of integrated communications strategies.
• Ability to gain cooperation and assistance from people with diverse backgrounds and cultures, both within and external to the organisation, to achieve the objectives of this position.
• Specialist written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write in a clear, concise, and understandable manner as appropriate for multiple formats including online and digital communication and social media.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines to a high standard of accuracy and consistency.
• A strong understanding of local, state, and federal government and experience working in a political environment.
• A current driver’s license.
