Wilcannia MPS is a small, unique & incredibly important Health facility for the Community. It’s been supporting the people for more than 140 years. Its resilience has matched that of it’s people & in doing so means that many can stay living on Country throughout their lives.
Today it is a beautiful modern facility that offers a 24-hour 2-bed Emergency Department and 8 Residential Aged care beds with new services on the way.
Exciting new technologies allow Wilcannia RNs to be supported by 24-hour RPA Virtual Hospital health professionals.

The ideal candidate will:
Have an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
Be able to stay 12 months in the role
Have at least 12 months of experience in Emergency Department, Triage & OR Aged Care Clinical Co-Ordinator experience
Have an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
Have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) & National Police Certificate (NPC)
Have all required Vaccinations
