How will you help Xe become more successful?

Reporting to the Australian Sales Director, the Business Development Manager identifies new business opportunities for Xe, working closely with our highly experienced FX Dealers to provide FX services for Australian businesses.

What you’ll do:

• Passionate about new business You will be responsible for new business development activities from initial research and prospecting of new potential corporate clients, through to qualifying applications and conducting fact finds, understanding a prospect’s business and aiming to solve business problems, and attending meetings to present Xe’s products and services as solutions.
• Business Development Tools: Identifying new business opportunities via a range of valid sources such as via your network, Internet, LinkedIn, company database/s, cross fertilisation of existing Xe clients, press related journals, referring networks, self sourced, etc.
• Creating & building client relationships: Set meetings with prospective clients, where you look to find enhancements to the prospective client's FX processes, and in the process helping solve business problems.
• Understanding your clients and their business: Provide a friendly, proactive service achieving an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, needs and requirements thus arriving at delivering the appropriate service offering.

• Goal & Target orientated: Achieve targeted number of applications, traded clients and revenue per month. Use a range of sales processes, including cold calling, to build a pipeline of opportunities.

Who you are:

About You

We are looking for a Project Manager based in Milton, Queensland, for our Queens Wharf Brisbane project. This is a 12-month fixed-term role and reports to the Operations Manager for New Equipment (NE) and Modernization (MOD).

In this role, you will be key in managing and administering Otis NE & Mod contracts according to Otis’s ‘Sales Installation Process’ (SIP).

As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include

• Manage and Administer Otis NE & Mod contracts according to the Otis’ ‘Sales Installation Process’ (SIP).

• Sets objectives and priorities, assigns and reviews tasks, performance, and staffing requirements, and maintains the resource plan.

• Maintains a high-performance team by recruiting, developing, and motivating field labor, setting appropriate standards of performance, and coaching the team.

• Ensures that Installation teams maintain approved site programs, attend site meetings, and exercise line authority over all allocated installation field labor.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, government inspectors, consultants, and within the Otis to understand business challenges and recommend innovative integrated business solutions.

• Ensures that reports, contract records, site diaries, accident reports, time sheets, and manpower charts are completed and submitted as required by Otis policies/procedures and state requirements.

• Proactively reports project risk and deliverable issues and participates in monthly project reviews with the branch and head office.

What you will need to be successful

• A tertiary qualification in Building or Engineering is preferred, and/or an Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate.

• Minimum five (5) years experience in project managing Lift installations.

• Engage frequently and effectively with various stakeholders within Sales, New Equipment, Contract Management, Builders, Consultants, and other project stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective planning and organizational skills.

• Be a self-starter who can work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
