Job Description An exciting opportunity has become available in our Planning Services team for a Planning Officer on a permanent, full-time basis. You will encourage, facilitate and ensure the orderly and proper development of the City of Subiaco within the guidelines of accepted town planning practices, the City of Subiaco town planning scheme and the City’s controls, policies and practices. The key responsibilities of this role: Process development applications for building works and changes in use in the City of Subiaco. Tasks include assessment, site visits, consultation with affected residents, negotiation with applicants and report writing; Process development application referrals for building works and changes in use under the planning control of DevelopmentWA. Tasks include assessment, site visits and report writing; Process Western Australian Planning Commission referrals for subdivision and amalgamation and process development applications for works on Metropolitan Region Scheme land. Tasks include assessment, site visits and report writing; Assist with State Administrative Tribunal reviews of planning decisions.
