Talent is searching for a Candidate Manager with experience recruiting for Corporate Services & Finance roles. This role would suit someone that has a keen interest in progressing into an Account Manager role in 12-18 Months! 

• Working alongside an established Account Director who has clients across a range of Government agencies and Commercial clients.  
• Roles are a Mixture of Contract (90%) and Permanent (10%) ranging from Admin, Governance & Secretariat, Project & Program Support, Customer Service & Contact Centre, HR & Recruitment, Marketing & Communications, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, Social Welfare, Case Management and Legal roles. 
• You will also be working as part of a wider team of Candidates Managers in NSW 
• We currently have a hybrid working policy, 2 days WFH and 3 in the office with Monday our anchor day. 

We are currently seeking a full time Reservations Manager to lead our fantastic reservations team. Reporting directly to our Commercial Director, this role will see you ensuring that the correct procedures are used in receiving, processing and confirming hotel reservations, working closely with our Director of Revenue in ensuring maximum yield.

Particular responsibilities will include: 

• Lead and support the reservations team, providing guidance and resolving queries.
• Respond promptly to reservation requests, ensuring accurate recording in the system.
• Maintain the Opera Reservations system, updating rates, availability, and mail messages.
• Review no-shows and provide follow-up details to the Assistant Manager.
• Ensure all reservations are up to date in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Verify regular client reservations for accuracy and quick check-ins.
• Monitor occupancy, apply stop-sell in PMS when needed, and inform relevant departments.
• Manage group reservations, ensuring accuracy in rooming lists and special requests.
• Reconfirm arrivals and pass necessary information to the Front Desk.
• Maintain and update guest history, sharing insights with management.
• Anticipate busy periods, manage allotments, and ensure proper utilization.
• Apply yield management practices and participate in monthly strategy meetings.
• Verify rate manuals and ensure accuracy of rates in the system.
• Collaborate with sales to forward leads and provide feedback on corporate markets.
• Ensure open communication between Front Office and Reservations teams.
• Complete daily tasks such as filing, correspondence, and reporting.
• Adhere to Emergency Communication protocols for media inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

To provide technical pre and post-contract support to our current secured data centre projects and general MEP support to the wider Sydney team. This is key to ensure we can deliver our services to our clients and have the capacity to tender future DC projects and support the growth within our sectors.

• Provide support to senior cost manager across all aspects of projects including cost estimates, quantity take-off, value engineering, tendering and evaluation, progress claim and variation assessment, final account close-out.
• Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan report.
• Measurement of all building elements for cost plan.
• Engage with market to obtain quotations / pricing to support cost estimate.
• Progress claim and variation assessments and valuations.

• Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management procedures and best practices
• Identify new revenue opportunities through market analysis and competitive benchmarking
• Oversee the revenue management and distribution strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Provide weekly dynamic forecasts, annual revenue budgets, and regular performance reports
• Lead and mentor the Reservations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high-performance

What you’ll do

This role focuses on the core marketplace experience and its six non-auto verticals, and consists of three main focus areas: Buy, Sell and Apps. It is responsible for managing the consumers buying and selling experience on the retail sites and apps, including the current suite of products and services as well as supporting carsales’ ongoing growth ambitions and track record of product innovation and delivery. This growth will be driven by product expansion and new product development which provides both consumer and business benefits.

The role will require you to work as part of a cross-functional team to ideate, create and execute world class consumer products, focusing on supporting consumers to sell their vehicles. With a strong focus on business outcomes, commercial acumen and the ability to utilise data to define your work is essential.
