We have an exciting opportunity available for a Logistics and Supply Manager for our Sydney office and warehouse to oversee the operations and distribution of Endress+Hauser instrumentation ensuring the timely and accurate delivery material and all aspects of stock control.
Role + Responsibilities
Supervising warehouse staff and activities – ensuring all deliveries are dealt with in a timely manner
Receiving sales order information and ensuring that all activities are entered into SAP
Liaising with Sales and Engineering department to meet deadlines and requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
Reviewing distribution strategies and policies
Negotiating contracts with suppliers
Managing stock takes as required
Ensuring the accuracy of Endress recording system and that all physical movement of material is replicated in SAP
Liaising with customers as required, providing exceptional customer service at all times
Qualification + Profile
Previous relevant experience in a similar role
Supervisory experience or skills
Tertiary qualifications in Administration and/or Logistics is essential
Instrumentation knowledge and understands the basic function of the main product groups
Advanced ability to review and generate reports using windows package
SAP – intermediate. Ability to navigate in SAP and perform all functions with regards to stock movement, and to understand the implications and ramifications of each
Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications
