Rentokil Initial has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Administrator to join our team based in Port Melbourne on a Permanent full-time basis.

We do require the successful candidate to be based in Melbourne, Victoria as this role will be based out of our office in Port Melbourne. You will be required to come into the office Monday to Friday.

This role reports directly to the Business Administration Team Lead and will see you utilise your Customer Service experience to build customer relationships, work with technicians on scheduling and invoicing to customers within our Pre-Construction division.

Core responsibilities in the role include:

• Liaising with customers directly via email and phone calls on a daily basis
• Resolve problems aligned to complaint resolution and customer in jeopardy procedures by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; and escalating unresolved problems.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both external and internal customers
• Work cross functionally with the internal service delivery teams to ensure customer needs are being met.
• A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy while invoicing using the CRM and setting up appointments for Pre-Construction customers.
• Collation and preparation of reports
• Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance
  

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in working as Business Support, Administration or Coordinator (essential)
• Excellent customer service skills (phone based)
• Intermediate computer skills
• Complaint handling and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and work autonomously
• High attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Love working in a team environment

What you'll do 

• Provide inventory specialist product and project support, answering questions, and resolving any emerging problems that our customers might face, with accuracy and efficiency, via phone, email, support ticket system or company projects.
• Accurately build and develop new and existing products across multiple platforms and CMS systems including both dealer and OEM content and requests, ensuring compliance.
• Support website re-platforming activity to drive customer retention and encourage repeat and additional business.
• Provide internal and dealer training as required, relating to existing and new inventory-specific products.
• Quality Assurance checks and audits of inventory configurations and implementations prior to product delivery.
• Implement SEO best practices and monitor website analytics to optimise performance and user experience

The Opportunity

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Maintenance Systems Administrator in our Services and Manufacturing Excellence team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.  Our goal is to achieve continuous digital transformation, manufacturing excellence and continuous process improvement to support our business and customers now and in the future.

In this opportunity, you will join an experienced and close-knit team who are responsible for the development and curation of our Maintenance Planning Systems across our Manufacturing portfolio. As someone who enjoys working with data and who has an eye for detail, this role will see you supporting all aspects of system administration.  You’ll be supported and mentored by your team, who are genuinely invested in seeing you succeed. 

This role would suit someone who has a background in maintenance who may be interested in broadening their scope into specialist systems expertise and process management.  There will be opportunity to be involved in key projects and upgrades, allowing exposure to new digital technologies and software to support continuous learning and personal development. 

What Will You Do?

You'll be a critical part of the team by taking ownership and acting as central point of coordination, you'll:

• update and maintain key data in our Maintenance Planning System (we use SAP)
• work closely with our plant maintenance teams to resolve problems and issues
• be involved in system upgrades and new software integrations  
• participate in the ongoing development of asset management/maintenance and improvement projects

More About You

It is likely you’ll have a technical background and some experience within a maintenance function, you’ll also have:

• high attention to detail and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• excellent communication (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• sound experience and knowledge of computers and software applications
• an interest in IT systems and integrations or a willingness to learn
