We’re looking for an Account Executive, SMB to join Procore’s Sales team. In this role, you’ll apply an understanding of Procore’s products, sales methodology, processes, prospecting techniques, and customer base while selling to small and medium business accounts in Australia and New Zealand.

As an Account Executive SMB, you’ll focus on companies that can benefit from Procore’s world-class project management tool for the construction industry. The primary function of this position is new account acquisition, where you’ll grow revenue with an emphasis on new product sales to our customer base. This includes cold-calling, prospecting, qualifying, conducting product demonstrations, solution selling, negotiation, execution of service agreements, and closing.

What you'll do:

• Timely follow-up and qualification of new prospects from either inbound leads or customer requests generated by marketing
• Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com

What we’re looking for:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred
• 2+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B
• Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desired
• Proven record of success in an inside sales and/or outside sales-based selling model

• Manage entire sales cycle from identification through to close, including: presentation, request for proposal responses, contract negotiations and transition to other departments for future servicing as either a software or outsourcing client

Purpose of your role

This role is an integral source of support for the Group Financial Controller in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.  You will be responsible for leading a global AP team, with employees in multiple regions, and overseeing the accounts payable function across multiple entities and regions.  You will work closely with the team to provide guidance and support to ensure invoices are approved, processed, and paid accurately within payment terms, along with completion of accurate and timely reconciliations and vendor subledger maintenance.

What you do

• Oversight of end-to-end accounts payable function, working closely with the accounts payable officer, accounts payable senior analyst and accounts payable analyst to provide support and guidance to ensure vendor details and transactions are maintained accurately in the Accounts Payable Platform (Concur) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounts payable module. 
• Ensure vendor payments are approved, paid, and reconciled in a timely manner and internal and external vendor payment queries are addressed and resolved. 
• Undertake ‘Accounting Review’ of invoices that are approved in Concur, to ensure the transaction reflects the invoice and appropriate accounting ahead of approval to post to the general ledger.
• Monthly review of accounts payable subledger and related suspense account balances, to confirm appropriate support, and follow up of any unreconciled balances.
• Continuously review and enhance accounts payable processes, leveraging automation and technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Generate regular reports and analysis on accounts payable metrics, such as invoice processing time, payment accuracy, and vendor performance. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on the analysis.
• Stay updated on changes in global accounting standards and regulations related to accounts payable. Implement controls to mitigate fraud and other risks in the accounts payable function.
• Oversight of the financial controls and financial accounting associated with the corporate card program and the 3rd party commissions.
• Provide support for accounts payable related audit requests in a timely manner.
• Lead and develop the team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Manage workload distribution and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.

• Support the Talent & Culture Manager to ensure the hotel implements its annual T&C Business Plan and Training/Development Strategy
• Provide advice and guidance including coaching and support to Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders on talent administration, performance management, training and development.
• Handle any team member grievance matters or interpersonal conflict sensitively and professionally, with an understanding and consideration of business risk, taking mitigating actions where required and escalating as needed to the Talent & Culture Manager.
• Lead and facilitate positive change management in relation to workforce culture.
• Ensure the hotel induction process is monitored and updated regularly with changing conditions within the hotel.
• Support Reward & Recognition programs and assist Talent & Culture Manager to drive and communicate these programs.
• Ensure health, safety and welfare of all staff is provided for through implementation of Accor Health and Safety initiatives.  Assist in the effective operation of the WHS Committee.
• Co-ordinate all internal events eg: employee briefings, annual Christmas party.
• Assist Talent & Culture Manager, General Manager and the Department Head team with employee relations initiatives, co-ordinate reward and recognition programs and deliver training programs.
• Support the Talent & Culture team in ensuring activities are in line with department budgets and keep accurate records of invoices and monthly expenditure, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to your manager.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization including the ‘C’ Suite
