We are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance, Data and Strategic Initiatives function, to support the delivery of key initiatives as part of the on-going development of the finance function and help to maintain the operating effectiveness of assigned finance systems and reports to ensure they are fit for purpose.

• Support the enhancement and maintenance of a robust control environment over finance systems and associated processes with a focus on simplification, standardisation and automation.
• Perform Finance System administration activities for allocated Finance Systems.
• Maintain accurate records of Finance systems and configurations, as well as related policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Respond to audit queries on a timely basis.
• Participating in risk management awareness sessions and forums as required.

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst has become available to join the Process Mining & Automation (PM&A) team within the National IT department of ALDI stores, based in Prestons NSW.

As a Senior Data Analyst your primary responsibilities are process related analytics and development of data driven solutions, specificity Process Mining, to support business processes within the ALDI system landscape (SAP). The roll enables end-to-end exposure to all local and international business streams i.e., Buying, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Stores, Finance and IT. You will utilise data to drive tangible cost saving or process improvement outcomes. Demonstration of excellent stakeholder relationships and strong understanding of the business processes will be a critical skillset for success in the role. Autonomy will be encouraged to identify opportunities and create visual representation of the key data logs from systems such as SAP S4, Manhattan, SAP TM. You will have a strong technical understanding of process mining and data visualisation capabilities of the Celonis application.

What does the role look like? 

• Supporting internal technical and business teams in the technical and functional implementation of process mining, task mining and automation solution
• Assume the role of technical Lead for the execution and management of innovative projects in collaboration with process experts
• Conduct thorough data analysis, leveraging robust SQL skills to query and manipulate SAP Data
• Design, optimise and monitor data models and data connections (ETL) to build the best possible and real-time capable data architecture
• Support, educate and mentor the team as the Process Mining expert
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and analyse retail business process requirements within the SAP context.

As payment methods evolve, so too do the efforts of criminals in their attempts to defraud businesses and consumers.  From sophisticated online scams to identity theft and phishing. We’re looking for a Financial Crimes Data Analyst  to champion data-driven insights for the financial crimes domain, leveraging high volumes of data and storytelling expertise to support risk mitigation strategies.   

About the Role: 

• Provide data visualisation expertise using Power BI, including data modelling.  

• Drive the implementation and validation of new and emerging data sets, including the validation of proficiency of AI and Machine learning models.  

• Provide insights to management and stakeholders, such as current fraud typologies and trends to support client and internal engagement activities.     

• Represent financial crime analytics while partnering with Data Engineers and stakeholders regarding data requirements.   

• Validate fraud controls implemented by clients to ensure adherence to the Cuscal Fraud Management Program.   

• Document, deliver and refine process and procedures to create accurate and efficient insights.  

• Conduct merchant reviews for onboarding requests and ongoing risk monitoring, partnering with our clients to assess fraud and scam risks in clients onboarding their customers.   

About You: 

• Tertiary qualification in data analytics, financial crime or criminology  

• Advanced knowledge of Data visualisation tools such as Power BI   

• Proven experience in Databricks and SQL  

• Demonstrated Experience making recommendations through data driven insights 

• Experience using fraud detection systems, including rule writing  is highly regarded

We’re looking for a Fraud Analyst who can protect our clients by analysing multiple data sets to prevent high-risk, fraudulent activity and emerging threats across payments and digital banking channels 

About the Role: 

• Proactive analysis of multiple data sets to prevent high-risk and fraudulent activity and emerging threats across multiple channels, including cards, 3D secure, digital wallets, real-time payments, digital, account-to-account payments (BPay and Direct entry) and PayTo.  

• Detection of fraudulent activities at the earliest opportunity, deploying fast and effective fraud rule mitigants. 

• Utilise network analysis and investigative techniques to understand, detect and mitigate money mule activity.    

• Use transactional analysis to conduct merchant reviews and ongoing risk monitoring, partnering with our clients to assess fraud and scam risks.   

• Conduct trend analysis across the fraud detection systems and realign detection capabilities with various structured and unstructured data.   

• Provide insights to management and client advisory roles, such as current fraud typologies and trends to support client and internal engagement activities. 

About You:
