What is on offer?

About the Role 

The Postdoctoral Fellow will lead 3D imaging research in Orthodontics and Craniofacial morphology at the Melbourne Dental School, working under the guidance of A/Prof. Paolo Cattaneo and Prof. Marie Cornelis. Key responsibilities include analysing orthodontic and craniofacial 3D datasets, conducting experiments ethically and accurately, contributing to publications, and mentoring students and staff. 

Your responsibilities will include: 


Work with orthodontic and craniofacial 3D datasets and analyse data using appropriate 3D software and equipment. 
Plan and carry out experiments focused on completion of research project aims. 
Preparing reports, undertaking quantitative analysis and providing input into the interpretation of results. 
Carry out experiments related to the project ethically, accurately and productively. 
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will demonstrate a developing research track record in Orthodontics, with expertise in clinical Orthodontics and 3D imaging. They must possess strong collaborative, organisational, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable qualifications include clinical expertise in Orthodontics and evidence of Research Higher Degree supervision.

You will also have:

A completed PhD in Orthodontics or related discipline.
Developing research track record and the potential to conduct high quality research in Orthodontics and to contribute efficiently to research teams under supervision.
Knowledge and experience in 3D imaging, dental digital workflow, orthodontic tooth movement, image and data collection, data analysis, data presentation.

We are advertising on behalf of our Client.
The primary functions of the role will be, but not limited to, completing regular maintenance on explosives fixed plant and mobile explosives processing vehicles within the Kalgoorlie, WA region. The role will include a mine specific utility vehicle, mobile phone and tools of trade.

Duties:
• Maintain surface MPU and UG pumping units in-line with maintenance schedules.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of MPUs, forklifts, trucks, trailers or similar assets.
• Conduct fixed plant maintenance checks in-line with maintenance schedule.
• Complete and update paperwork involved with maintenance checks.
• Complete general maintenance and repairs on explosives equipment (Mechanical and auto-electrical work)
• Maintain fleet vehicle in line with servicing requirements.
• General fabrication work, welding and grinding.
• Complete and adhere to Hot Working Permits as and where necessary.
• Operate a forklift and heavy ridged vehicles (example Normet)
• Attend callouts or breakdown incidents (from time to time)
• Conduct stock takes and manage spare parts inventory.
• Report any safety concerns or aspects to Plant Manager.
• On occasions drive light or heavy vehicles
• maintain a clean and tidy work area (Trucks, tanks, yard, compressors, other equipment etc.)

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant site licenses (desirable)
• Mobile Processing Unit (MPU) operator’s qualification or experience (desirable)
• WA Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced CNC operator to work on the latest machines in a manufacturing environment. You will be working collaboratively with Processing and Engineering Departments to support the manufacturing of heavy transport trailers.

You will be responsible for:
• Set up and operation of CNC Machines in a timely and safe manner. Machines include; Trumpf Tube Laser Cutter, Doosan CNC Lathe, CNC Plate Laser Cutter, CNC Press.
• Operation of robotic welding equipment.
