Our client, Derby Taxi Service, is looking for a passionate shuttle Bus Driver to operate in the Derby area. The main duties will include commuting passengers/tourists from local airports to different locations and vice versa.
The driver will be able to drive Light and Medium buses carrying up to 21 passengers.
As part of the role, drivers will be requested to commute passengers to and from remote areas serving local indigenous communities and commuting them as far as Broom.
There will be at least three runs each day to and from airports in addition to other shuttles commuting passengers locally.
Please note that this will be full-time employment, up to 50 hours a week, with weekend availability required sometimes.
Income: $70,000 annually
Applicant needs to be prepared to work a rotating roster which includes straight shifts, split shifts, and relief shifts. More detailed information is discussed during the recruitment process.
What you bring
• A current WA Light Rigid driving licence
• A safe driving record (no more than 4 demerit points gained on your driver’s licence- please check with the Department of Transport)
• Hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check card
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
