About the role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join the Youth Enhanced Services (YES) team, a program funded through local Primary Health Networks (PHN). YES is designed to support young people aged 12 - 25 with complex and longstanding mental health issues, along with their families. This program targets the "missing middle"—young people who are too complex for primary mental health care but not acute enough for tertiary services, often experiencing inconsistent or inadequate care.

The BounceBack program has been delivering high-quality, wrap-around care since 2019 in the Casey, Cardinia, Dandenong, and Kingston regions. The program offers comprehensive support through an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, including mental health clinicians, psychiatrists, family therapists, peer support workers, and carer peer support workers.

As part of our integrated team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing comprehensive screening and assessment and providing case coordination and treatment to young people who present with complex and chronic mental health issues
• Formulating recovery plans, as well as assessing for and completing appropriate referrals
• Collaborate effectively with other care agencies, interagency networks, and educators to create a supportive network
• Actively monitoring young people, including follow ups as required to meet your clients’ goals

The Role

• Support Students & Parents: Handle incoming enquiries via Missive and Podium about schedules, invoicing, rescheduling, and general information, ensuring quick, professional, and solutions-oriented responses.
• Oversee Campus Operations: Keep the campus running smoothly by managing administrative tasks, maintaining stock and equipment, and preparing classrooms to create a welcoming learning environment.
• Engage with Customers: Assist walk-in students and parents at the campus, providing support and information in a patient, empathetic manner.

Our headspace Knox, Lilydale, Dandenong & Narre Warren teams are seeking expressions of interest from Registered Psychologists with FULL AHPRA registration to provide private practice services and deliver focused psychological strategies to young people aged 12-25.  

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, acting as a one-stop-shop for young people seeking support with mental health, drug and alcohol, primary health and vocational/educational issues.

These positions are located on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation.

These roles come with great flexibility to ensure that you get the best of both worlds; you can maintain your existing private or public work and provide contracted services to us for as little as one day each week. What you’ll be doing

As a contractor, you will have a referral base of young people who have been assessed and are ready to access services. In addition, you will be supported with;  

1. Full administrative support (including reception, billings, appointment bookings and reminder service)  
2. Fully web-based medical record software with IT support 
3. Co-located General Practitioners 

We are looking for an empathetic and dynamic Occupational Therapist Grade 2 to join our dedicated team of Mental Health Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Support Practitioners. In partnership with the NDIS, you will provide tailored support to individuals aged 12 to 64 with psychosocial disabilities and co-occurring conditions like autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability. Your role will involve assessing and delivering individualized interventions primarily through outreach, including home and community visits in the Local Government Areas of Casey, Cardinia, and Dandenong. About you

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s degree minimum)
• Registration with Australian Practitioners Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current Australian driver’s license and own car
• Current Police and Working with Children Check
• A cleared NDIS National Worker Screening Check prior to commencement of employment
• Knowledge and experience in applying OT practice in community mental health settings
• Experience with sensory assessment and implementing sensory-based intervention plans
• Sound knowledge of current theory and practice in occupational therapy
• Highly developed listening and communication skills
• Ability to manage own workload and set priorities without supervision
