The Australian Corporate Solutions Group (CSG) originates, structures and executes a wide range of risk management solutions for corporate and public sector clients across Australia and New Zealand. The team is on the private side within Markets, and works closely with Trading, Structuring, Banking and Risk. CSG originates a wide range of client transactions, from managing interest rate, inflation and currency risk on a client’s debt financing to efficient hedging and financing of their emerging market subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Originate, structure, market (internally and externally) and execute structured solutions for AU and NZ Corporate and Public Sector entities, in coordination with various structuring and trading desks at Citi Markets.
• Originate and execute meaningful and landmark Big and Episodic transactions
• Understanding of global markets and various derivatives across asset classes including IRS, XCCY Swaps, Options etc. Price all components of derivative transactions and analyze associated risks. Ability to liaise with various internal trading / structuring teams to construct bespoke solutions using one or a combination of aforementioned products, to address a variety of client needs (hedging, financing, accounting, tax etc.)
• Strong grasp of various concepts related to derivative credit exposure. Ability to calculate XVA & funding impact of derivative products, with strong intuition on the impact of different credit mitigation strategies on swap credit charges (full/partial collateralization, mandatory termination, syndication etc.). Ability to calculate and effectively interpret derivative pre-settlement exposures and engage in conversations with Credit Risk to obtain pre-trade credit approvals.

• Develop the Citi franchise with the relevant AU and NZ corporate clients. Serve as key partner to Corporate banking and CCB Coverage, CMO, IBD to ensure effective delivery of appropriate hedging / structured solutions to our clients.

Reporting to Quality Assurance Manager, you will provide support in developing the company’s quality management system and assist peers with the daily running of the Quality Assurance Department.

What you will be involved in………

• Audit of production and QC documentation.

• Perform line clearance, pre and post production run.

• Support the QA Manager in the set-up and maintenance of QMS.

• Ensure QMS and operational compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Support for key QMS systems such as audits, CAPA, SOP review, etc.

• Support RA activities.

• Support in developing and implementing quality strategies.

• Deviation, NCR and complaint management, Products and Materials Release, Validation and Change Control Support, New production introduction and Documentation Controls to ensure an efficient operational Quality System that assures full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and cGMP.

• Responsible for ensuring that material supplied is fit for purpose for customer.

• Responsible for providing quality oversight for Operations activities.

• Support the QA Manager in continuous improvement projects and quality related improvement initiatives.

• Assist in internal audits and the review of validation reports.

• Issue and review batch documentation and release of batches of Intermediate, Bulk and Finished products.

What we would expect from you:

• Life Sciences (Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.) academic degree with experience in Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical industry within Australia and Internationally.

• Experience in research and large-scale bioprocessing techniques.

• An understanding and experience of quality systems and the need to develop and follow SOPs, particularly in a cGMP environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and to assimilate data from a range of scientific ideas.

• Ability to work under pressure and to strict guidelines.

• Ability to manage time and to delegate as appropriate.

To work with the Head of External Affairs in the development and delivery of annual plans and initiatives.

Collaborate with Head of External Affairs in implementing the ANZ corporate and internal communication strategies for broad stakeholder engagement to raise a positive profile of Biogen and support engagement of employees. Manage projects that cultivate alliances, partnership opportunities and advocacy in response to patient needs. Work to develop insight-led programs that bring about change.

 Corporate Communications

• Provide support for external-facing stakeholder engagement; event management, correspondence, filing, pitch processes, supplier/agency management
• Research and analysis on specific topics to aid in planning delivery
• Manage strategic corporate profile-raising initiatives and campaigns including research and sourcing of appropriate partners
• Manage ANZ LinkedIn presence - strategic content development; employee engagement; training;
• Assist with media management; relationship building; strategic engagement; triaging of media enquiries; issues management
• Manage content and updates for Biogen ANZ websites
• Manage and guide teams on the company’s role and use of social media
• Act as an ambassador for Biogen and the External Affairs function/work
• Adhere to all Medicines Australia, compliance and financial SOPs with support from Legal Counsel
• Potentially liaise with international colleagues with Corporate, Public and Government Affairs

 Internal Communications

• Support the development of annual strategic internal communication plans and content
• Coordination of proactive communication such as town halls, regular leadership communication etc.
• Preparation of communications content in a variety of formats (writing and editing skills essential) and ensure all items have been through appropriate approval processes
• Management of internal communication channels such as the intranet (SYNAPSE) and others to be developed

Product Communications

• Participate in cross-functional working groups as appropriate
• Provide communications advice to product teams as necessary
