The Applications System Analyst is responsible for delivering a range of technical services and expertise to Intelerad’s new and existing clients. This role participates in evaluating client needs and developing configurations that support business processes, testing and troubleshooting system setups, and facilitation and support of system go-lives. What You’ll Do

In this role you will work collaboratively with other Software Asset Management (SAM) team members, Software Licensing Consultants, and Customer account teams. Essentially, the Software Asset Management Consultant will:

• Act as Consulting SAM Subject Matter Expert for our customers.
• Deliver SAM Consulting services relevant to today’s changing technology landscape and market demands.
• Deliver Compliance Reviews (Effective Licensing Position) for Customers.
• Review current software licensing Terms and Conditions, License Agreements, and License Contracts to identify any breaches or risks for our customers.
• Apply knowledge of licensing rules and use rights within SAM Consulting Services.
• Analyse, document, and present licensing modelling recommendations.
• Identify license reclamation opportunities to achieve cost avoidance outcomes.
• Propose remediation and optimisation activities that may result in reduced compliance risk and/or financial savings and cost avoidance outcomes.
• Contribute to the achievement of project outcomes while managing compliance and commercial risks for customers.
• Provide quality customer service through adherence to Datacom’s Asset Management service delivery methodology and processes.
• Utilise SAM technologies and their capabilities including Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and/or Snow License Manager.
• Interpret data outputs from the SAM technologies and other tools to provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with service management, and customer teams to define, optimise, and develop SAM standards, processes, procedures, plans and controls to ensure appropriate service asset information is recorded and maintained.

Key Responsibilities 

Design and Implementation of Audit Plans

You will develop risk-based annual and three-year audit plans, ensuring a balance between financial, compliance, performance, and operational reviews which will incorporate input from key stakeholders, including our ELT, outsourced IA provider, and the GWA Audit & Risk Committee.

Audit Management

You will be responsible for establishing audit objectives and scopes of work, communicating them to the Internal Audit team and relevant stakeholders, and obtaining approval from the relevant senior GWA stakeholders in order to progress. You will manage internal audit resources, including both internal and outsourced teams, ensuring tasks are appropriately assigned, monitored and completed.

Technology Integration

Utilising data mining and data analytics where applicable to detect fraudulent or unusual transactions in financial statements, you will develop a deep understanding of GWA’s technology systems to identify improvements and audit action points.

Continuous Improvement

We will expect you to keep updated regarding changes in internal audit standards and best practices. In addition, you will conduct interviews with management and staff to identify best practices and align them with business standards, GWA policies, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Communication

You will prepare comprehensive reports highlighting control weaknesses, risks, implications, and recommendations for process improvements. You will also discuss your findings with line management and ELT members, gaining commitment to agreed-upon actions.

Budget Management

You will be responsible for overseeing the overall Internal Audit budget, including the component related to our external providers. You will ensure accurate reporting, correct accruals, and preparation of budgets/forecasts as required.

Stakeholder Collaboration

You will liaise closely with our outsourced IA provider, GWA Group Financial Controller, and GWA Group CFO to ensure the timely delivery of the audit plan. You will hold all parties accountable for meeting agreed-upon deliverables in terms of quality, timing, and cost.

Leadership and Team Development

You will lead, coach, and motivate both internal and outsourced audit teams, ensuring high performance, delivery, and engagement whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

 Skills and experience

Our ideal candidate will have aminimum 8 years in an internal/external audit role with experience in planning, coordinating, and executing a global audit function, plus: 

• Proven experience in internal audit management, with a focus on risk management, controls, and IT systems.
• People/team management experience
• You will be highly commercially minded with the ability to apply your knowledge and experience in a practical manner with a focus on positive business outcomes.
• You will have strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence and gravitas to undertake and lead negotiations to achieve the best risk mitigation result for GWA.
• A flexible, solutions focused mindset with the ability to understand and adapt to the shifting and competing priorities of the business, whilst keeping on task and on schedule.

As a Senior consulting member of the SAM team, you will lead consulting projects and work collaboratively with the other SAM team members. We’re looking for an independent, proactive, highly skilled, and enthusiastic team member who’s interested in being part of a larger group delivering a high-quality SAM Consulting solutions to our customers. You’ll bring expertise developed over 5+ years in a Software Asset Management, especially with Oracle licensing and compliance expertise, as you will be undertaking a range of interesting lead activities relating to software licensing, audit defence, and compliance management with Tier 1 Software Publishers (Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft) on behalf of our customers.

You will also be leading the delivery of the Software Asset Management (SAM) managed services projects for multiple customers from Commercial and Government industries.

This role does not involve software licensing sales targets.

Your ability to work with other members of the SAM and customer management teams to develop and deliver quality solutions for our customer is critical to the success of our SAM Consulting and Managed services.

This role can be based out of any Datacom office in Australia. Australian Citizenship is essential for Federal Government security clearance requirements. Preferably, you'll be a holder of either a current or lapsed Baseline clearance or higher.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will lead SAM Consulting projects and work collaboratively with other Software Asset Management (SAM) team members, Software Licensing Consultants, and Customer account teams. Essentially, the Senior Software Asset Management Consultant will:

• Act as Senior Consulting SAM Subject Matter Expert for our customers and the SAM team.
• Deliver SAM Consulting services relevant to today’s changing technology landscape and market demands.
• Deliver and Assess Compliance Reviews (Effective Licensing Positions) for Customers.
• Deliver commercial and contract advisory services to customers in relation to their Tier 1 Software Publishers.
• Improve our customers audit readiness and audit defence posture.
• Review current software licensing Terms and Conditions, License Agreements, and License Contracts to identify any breaches or risks for our customers.
• Apply knowledge of licensing rules and use rights within SAM Consulting Services.
• Develop, Document, and Present licensing modelling recommendations to our customers.
• Lead the achievement of the outcomes of multiple projects and customer contracts.
• Provide quality customer service through adherence to Datacom’s Asset Management service delivery methodology and processes.
• Develop license reclamation strategies to initiate cost avoidance activities.
• Propose remediation and optimisation activities that may result in reduced compliance risk and/or financial savings and cost avoidance.
• Utilise SAM technologies and their capabilities including Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS), Snow License Manager, and Service Now SAM Pro.
• Interpret data outputs from the SAM technologies and other tools to provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with service management, and customer teams to define, optimise, and develop SAM standards, processes, procedures, plans and controls to ensure appropriate service asset information is recorded and maintained.

What we are looking for

A Full-Stack Engineer who will help build both a consumer facing React Native app, and the backing service, that gives Australians a better, more sustainable way to get receipts. You will also contribute to our backend services that support direct integrations into merchant and financial institution apps, including Kmart, Country Road and the big 4 Australian banks.  

We are looking for a mid-level full-stack engineer who can design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable web applications using AWS services, Kubernetes, TypeScript and React. You will be working with a team of talented engineers who are passionate about building innovative solutions for our clients. 

This role requires the candidate to be based in Sydney, NSW. Candidates who are not located near or in Sydney will not be considered.

What does a normal day look like?

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud services using AWS resources such as Kubernetes, API Gateway, Lambda, Kinesis, RDS, Dynamo and S3. 
• Design and implement frontend features for web and mobile using technologies such as using React, React Native, TypeScript, HTML and CSS. 
• Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products and user experiences. 
• Write clean, maintainable code with high test coverage following best practices and code standards. 
• Continuously learn and improve your skills and knowledge of the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and web development. 
• Participate in our on call rotation and work with other engineers on high priority incidents. 
• Ensure continued platform compliance in line with our ISO, security and external privacy requirements. 
  

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar software engineering role 
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 
• Proficient in TypeScript, NodeJS and either React or React Native, and willing to learn new frameworks and technologies as you contribute to a broad set of services and apps 
• You’re a team player and collaborate with the team to adjust to changing priorities 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills 
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright 
• Experience with designing and deploying cloud resources, preferably on AWS 
• Experience with Git, developer code review processes, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions

About the Role

The focus of the role is to implement the Datascape ERP Financial systems to our customers within the Local Government market. Consulting engagements will range from large scale implementations through to smaller engagements.

At times a large component of the role will be spent onsite with our customers. Whilst these onsite activities require travel to customer sites, Datacom does embrace flexible working arrangements outside of onsite customer commitments.

• Develop training material, configuration and solution design documentation.
• Work with other parts of the Datacom organization to achieve the desired commercial outcomes.
• Ensure that the Consulting Services provided are of a high quality to promote client reference ability.
