Assistant Front Office Manager

Reporting to the Resort’s Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for assisting with the management of the day-to-day operations of Front Office,  Reservations, and Night Audit functions, whilst ensuring all brand service standards are maintained in these areas, profitability is maximised, and Guest and Team Member needs are met or exceeded.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Assist the Front Office Manager with the management of both Front Office and Reservations operations.
• Effective supervision of all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused.
• Daily liaison with the Reservations office to ensure accuracy in room allocation and maximising of yield.
• Ensure the Resort is maintaining a high level of guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction, through pre-stay, during stay and post-stay feedback, and assessment of guest satisfaction surveys
• Preparation of Front Office monthly reports, commenting on key company performances and forecasts.
• Ensure there is management support and presence visible on Front Desk and in the lobby during key times throughout the day.
• Assist the Front Office Manager in creating and implementing department training plans to drive performance and engagement within the front office team.
• Be an ongoing support to all areas of the Resort, helping and guidance in peak times to eliminate potential issues.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated leader to join our team, who will report to, and working collaboratively with, the Food & Beverage Services Manager. This role is key to bringing the Resort's casual dining concepts to life while leading and inspiring the team, instilling a culture of guest passion, and drive financial performance.

This role will work across The Green Dining, The Cart Bar & Kitchen, Conferencing & Events, and the seasonal poolside Oasis Bar.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to assist with general tasks such as ordering, timesheet approvals (within Award provisions) and representing the Kitchen team at Resort meetings.
• Ensure that service runs smoothly as the senior chef in absence of the Sous Chef.
• Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food items, maintaining recipe standards.
• Prepare mis-en place as required
• Participate in creating various exciting menu items
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
• Maintaining Accor’s high standards in food hygiene and quality, with a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and for the duration of our guest’s stay.
• Assist guests with luggage and other concierge duties.
• Ensure accuracy of guest accounts on departure
• Promote and up-sell hotel facilities through strong product knowledge.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Delivering warm and friendly service while working across the The Green Dining restaurant and bar, Oasis Pool Bar, Sunset Deck, and Conference & Events,
• Order taking while maximising sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling,
• Have the availability and flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday including early mornings and late nights and Public Holidays.

• Accurately process both FIT and group bookings, including availability requests, confirmations, payment schedules, within the required timeframes.
• Establishing strong relationships and accuracy in addressing guest needs/requirements
• Monitor and report on market trends to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and Revenue team.
• Produce reports and statistics as requested, including business turnaways and group forecasts.
• Assist with the management of payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and terms and conditions.
• In collaboration with the Reservations Supervisor, allocate hotel inventory with a special attention paid to group reservations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team, and assist with general tasks such as ordering, timesheet approvals (within Award provisions) and representing the Kitchen team at Resort meetings such as Banquet Operations.
• Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food items, maintaining recipe standards.

• Participate in creating various exciting menu items
• Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
• Maintaining Accor’s high standards in food hygiene and quality, with a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP, in addition to ALLSafe
