The Role

• Assist team members with payroll requests and handle all complaints promptly and efficiently
• Manage the payroll systems & ensure integrity of data
• Process wages based on approved hourly rates or salaries including allowances, leave types and deductions using imported time & attendance data interfaced from the systems
• Process final payments and calculate termination payments
• Ensure accurate records are maintained as set out in the National Employment Standards for wages e.g. pay slips
• Generate reports after each payroll and distribute to department managers.
• Submit audit reports to the Hotel Accountants/Finance Managers.

You will be the face of this very dynamic hotel and responsible for all guest interactions, queries and requests that come through the reception desk. The successful applicant will assist the Manager on Duty in ensuring a smooth and seamless front office operation and exceptional guest experience in such a transient location.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be overseeing the Front Office function at a leadership level, whilst ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, and leading a team of dedicated professionals to deliver unparalleled service. You will be responsible for the following: 

• Ensureing hotel targets around RPS, NPS, Loyalty and room upselling are met to ensure KPI’s are achieved.

• Full utilisation of the PMS and other systems ensuring accuracy in use and a range of accurate reports to meet operational needs are produced.
