As 2IC, you will be leading the team throughout the daily operations of our busy airport hotel. This role allows the individual the ability to lead all aspects of the hotel business; Front Office, Reservations, Night Audit, Housekeeping, Engineering and Food & Beverage.
Working closely with the Hotel Manager this is a great opportunity to collaborate with a supporting leader in preparation for the next step in your career.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading the team alongside the Hotel Manager which will include assisting with AM and PM coverage
- Assisting the departments within the hotel when needed – kitchen, housekeeping, night audit, maintenance & front office operations
- Day to day you will be overseeing reception operations; from checking in guests to handling member queries as well as making sure all aspects of the hotel are flowing smoothly
- Back of house responsibilities include the of completing administrative tasks such as rosters, reporting etc.
- Supporting, nurturing and empowering our Heartists through the daily operations and their own hospitality journey
- Delivering on project implementation with ideas to improve the hotel, customers experience and the workplace culture
