Your Day to Day

• Design, develop, and implement JavaScript-based applications for Financials, CRM, and Inventory Management.
• Develop and implement custom scripts, workflows, and reports.
• Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability, accuracy, and security.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimisations.
• Maintain documentation of code changes, architecture, and implementation procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications and integrations.
• Administer and maintain application platforms, including user access, roles, and permissions.
• Collaborate with the Change Management Committee to assess, prioritise, and implement changes.
• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide training and support to end-users, including documentation and training sessions.

What You Need

• 5+ years’ experience as an IT Business Applications/Solutions Engineer or equivalent.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Exposure to eCommerce (DTC), wholesale distribution (B2B), and manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Strong experience with ERP systems and a wide variety of SaaS-based business applications.
• Previous exposure to automated testing is highly regarded.
• Experience with application integration technologies (e.g., APIs, webhooks, EDI, iPaaS).
• ITIL understanding is an advantage.
• Previous experience in NetSuite is highly regarded.
• Experience with JavaScript, SuiteScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

We are currently looking to add an Engineering Manager to help drive the Product Engineering DXP roadmap. We're seeking an energetic technical leader who is driven by building and leading high performing engineering teams.

We’re location-flexible!  This role is open to all candidates on the east coast of Australia.

This role is hybrid, allowing you to work where and when works best for you.

For this role, we ask that you can demonstrate the following experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, equivalent professional experience in related fields
• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar technical leadership role
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development building and maintain large-scale software products
• Proficiency in full-stack development, with expertise in web based languages and frameworks such as Node, TypeScript, React or similar, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. We use Scrum for most of the teams, with some using Kanban
• You have shown your ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and make decisions that align with business strategy
• Proven track record as a mentor and coach, who has developed teams by growing your people

Nice to have

• Previous experience working on DXP or CMS platforms, or experience integrating or using DXP/CMS platforms
• Experience or knowledge of ISO27001 / SOC1 / SOC2, or previous involvement in attaining and retaining security accreditation at an organisational level

• Work across 3-5 software engineering teams to help build our Digital Experience Platform. Each team consists of a Team Lead, and 3 or 4 software engineers at different levels - junior, mid and senior
• Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development of Team Leads and Software Engineers
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Drive best practices in software development, code quality, and architecture across our tech stack

About the Role (Your why)

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for providing onsite and offsite network support for our clients’ environment. You are expected to provide exceptional levels of service and assistance to rectify and solve issues as they are reported. This will be achieved by your ability to work across variety of teams to provide high-level technical support for data network systems, including an ability to create and maintain network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Network Engineer you will be focused on:

Required technical experience:

• Understanding of Networking principles and practical application
• Experience in engineering and administration of multiprotocols, multilayer switches including LAN protocols, BGP, RIP, NAT, OSPF/EIGRP, TCP/IP and Wireless (Cisco, Aerohive, Fortinet, Aruba)
• Experience with router and switch technology as well as working knowledge in protocol analysis. Includes ability to configure, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot
• Experience with DNS configuration and management
• Exposure to Cloud Solutions: Azure, AWS
• Experience with analysis and implementation of Firewall requests
• Experience with diagnosis and troubleshooting using firewall analysis tools

Role Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead areas of the design and development of Epsilon Retail Media’s software systems. This role will be familiar with all the policies, procedures, and technical issues related to programming. You will be generally competent across the majority of areas within the Epsilon Retail Media system and have a good understanding of how it functions together.

You will take a lead position in the development of initiatives within the squad structure and provide the technical vision for the initiatives you are involved in. You will also be responsible for communicating status updates to people external to the squad, including any potential risks to the delivery deadline (scope creep, reduced resources etc.) as early as possible so effective support can be provided.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Mentor Junior and Intermediate Software Engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
• In collaboration with your Engineering Manager and the Technical Lead, build and maintain development processes and procedures, in TDD (test-driven development) or BDD (behaviour-driven development), and build upon a core SDLC.
• Implementing and monitoring ongoing strategies to enable us to deliver quality and excellence through robust testing education and policies that are balanced and appropriate to the scope of the project being delivered.
• In collaboration with the Test and Release Manager, establish automation quality assurance test methods and procedures, incorporating new technologies and meeting changing organizational, customer, and/or regulatory requirements.
• Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended.
• In collaboration with other Senior Software Engineers and Engineering Managers, ensure timely status and metrics reporting to project management and senior management.
• Work with the Development team, Product Managers, and Engineering
