Your New Role
As the IT Business Applications Engineer, you will take on a vital role in shaping the future of our business systems. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in JavaScript to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge applications that cater to our Financials, CRM, and Inventory Management needs. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure our solutions not only meet but exceed strategic objectives and operational requirements.

Your Day to Day
- Design, develop, and implement JavaScript-based applications for Financials, CRM, and Inventory Management.
- Develop and implement custom scripts, workflows, and reports.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability, accuracy, and security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimisations.
- Maintain documentation of code changes, architecture, and implementation procedures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications and integrations.
- Administer and maintain application platforms, including user access, roles, and permissions.
- Collaborate with the Change Management Committee to assess, prioritise, and implement changes.
- Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including documentation and training sessions.
What You Need
- 5+ years’ experience as an IT Business Applications/Solutions Engineer or equivalent.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Exposure to eCommerce (DTC), wholesale distribution (B2B), and manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Strong experience with ERP systems and a wide variety of SaaS-based business applications.
- Previous exposure to automated testing is highly regarded.
- Experience with application integration technologies (e.g., APIs, webhooks, EDI, iPaaS).
- ITIL understanding is an advantage.
- Previous experience in NetSuite is highly regarded.
- Experience with JavaScript, SuiteScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
