Key responsibilities:
You will be designing, developing and maintaining data-centric applications using modern software development practices. You will be working in a batch processing, ETL environment, where the emphasis is on managing large volumes of data at scale and speed. Most of your software development will consist of a mix of .NET, C# and T-SQL.
We’re looking for:
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, working in C# and .NET
• 4+ years of experience working in database technologies including MS SQL Server and SSIS
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (GIT/TFVC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A quick learner, who can swiftly acquire the business domain knowledge necessary to be a productive team member
• Motivated, self-directed team player who will work closely with the team and provide support to internal customers
• Ability to mentor less experienced software developers
• Passion for technology and innovation
• Experience working with Azure Service Fabric, NServiceBus, RabbitMQ (desirable)
• Experience working in PostgreSQL, Python, Linux, Hadoop (desirable)
