The Role

We're on the lookout for someone to join our awesome Customer Service team. They’re the first point of contact for our owners and hirers (customers) via phone, tickets, and live chat. They help our customers with all sorts of things from finding the right vehicle to hire, helping with listings, verification checks and managing breakdown and accident call-outs.

If you would like to join this incredible team, you’ll need experience in a customer service role (ideally in a call centre). We’re open to your industry experience but insurance, travel, hospitality or retail would help set you up for success. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to actively listen and respond empathetically to customers is essential. You also need to be comfortable thinking on your feet and problem solving. Geographical knowledge and understanding of Australian and New Zealand locations would also be an advantage.

This is a fast-paced role so strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to switch between systems whilst talking to customers is required. What You’ll Do

Birdeye is looking for a Customer Success Manager for Retention and Growth with a passion for relationship management. The successful candidate will nurture and manage accounts to maintain a healthy life-cycle, while ensuring and allowing customers to see the benefits of Birdeye’s new platform and renew. This role is vital and hands-on role, where you will work hand-in-hand with customers to help improve their online reputation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for renewals of Birdeye’s clients

• Monitor and analyze account health to identify churn risk

• Win back clients who have requested a cancellation

• Utilize your creativity to refine and innovate processes to improve Customer Success

• Leverage your sales skills to reinforce the value proposition of BirdEye

• Be the point of escalation for clients and salespeople to ensure client satisfaction

• Develop methods for managing customer satisfaction

• Leverage research and understand of our clients industries to create tailor-made solutions

• Handle some financial and billing issues for Birdeye clients

• Additional assigned projects as assigned

Requirements

• 2-7 years of experience in a customer facing support/success/account management/retention role.

• Customer experience champion.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Consultative approach to account management.

• Deep customer empathy.

• Understanding of SMB space, particularly in the specified vertical.

• Exceptional Saas product knowledge.

• Ability to effectively manage delicate customer situations

• Organized and reliable - Able to work as a team with little direction when necessary

• Knowledge of Sales force CRM a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

What you’ll do:

You will join the Compass AU Support function in our Sydney Office, working with the Support Manager & Support Team Leads, to ensure that our schools are provided with the service they need to get the most out of the Compass platform.

Specifically, you will:

• Provide solutions to schools by responding to their requests and solving their problems as they arise.
• Manage communications through a range of channels - including live chat, emails, and phone calls.
• Work closely with the sales, product, and engineering teams to escalate customer inquiries as required.
• Draft and maintain knowledge base resources such as help articles and videos relating to all parts of the Compass platform.
