Our client, an Australian owned Metal Engineering company, is seeking a Draftsperson with Autocad & SolidWorks experience to join their Somersby site.
Reporting to the Director, you will be required to use Solidworks CAD design software to create 3D models and AutoCAD design software to create 2D models for client projects. You will also be responsible for design development, including production method, and drafting of workshop drawings.
The role also includes programming works for completion by others, as well as keeping clients informed on project status through to completion.
This is a permanent position and the hours are 7.30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday and 7.30am - 1.30pm Friday.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Engage with existing and new customers in-person or via video conference, phone and email
Interpret client drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
