The Role
In your role as the Business Development Executive - APAC, you will be instrumental in driving incremental business for Pepperstone, focusing specifically on the APAC Region. Your responsibilities will include acquiring new partners, such as Introducing Brokers (IBs), MAMM, and Trading-related Social influencers in the APAC Region. You'll be actively involved in establishing contact with potential business partners, nurturing relationships with them, and supporting clients referred by these partners.

Moreover, your role encompasses overseeing all marketing aspects of the Affiliate channel at Pepperstone, with a specific emphasis on targeting the APAC Region. Your broad marketing experience will be crucial in addressing the various facets of this dynamic role. A significant aspect involves supporting Affiliate acquisition in APAC through diverse marketing channels and maintaining consistent engagement with our existing and new affiliates, as well as internal stakeholders.

Your success in this role will be measured by the revenue generated from the introduced business. Collaboration with the existing APAC Sales Team is essential to facilitate overall business growth. As the Business Development Executive - APAC, you play a pivotal role in expanding Pepperstone's presence in the region and contributing to the success of the APAC business unit.

As our Business Development Manager - APAC, your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Actively searching for potential business partners, affiliates, and social influencers through online searches, attending offline industry events, and reaching out to them via calls, emails, and social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Lines, and WeChat.
• Understanding offerings from competitors, enables us to provide competitive deals to potential partners.
• Problem-solving client requests efficiently using your knowledge of our products, platform, and internal setup.
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Negotiating with internal stakeholders to ensure the best service for the client.
• Using in-depth industry knowledge to develop new partners and affiliates, expand business, and convert partners.
• Onboarding affiliates to Pepperstone, including setting up and providing access to tracking systems such as CellXpert, Impact, and AppsFlyer.
• Collaborating with the Affiliate Manager to assess the quality of partner websites and referral programs.
• Monitoring and reporting on performance, identifying optimization initiatives.
• Supporting the assessment of new affiliate applications, ensuring alignment with the brand and compliance requirements.
• Collaborating to keep our partners updated with changes to our product and service offerings.
• Working with the Global Partners Manager and the Partners team to develop a localized Partners growth strategy for the MENA region and contributing to improvements in partner sales processes.
• Providing support to new partners who have not yet referred their first client.
• Contributing to Partner Sales reporting and communicating emerging trends, key partnerships, and new opportunities to the Global Partners Manager and the wider business.
• Collaborating with the Partners team on competitor analysis to identify industry commission levels and new program features.

About you

• 3+ years of experience or exposure to IB/affiliate marketing in the CFD industry.
• Collaborative ability within teams, across functions, and offices.
• Proficient in spoken and written English, and another language in the Asia Pacific Region.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Practical experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of affiliate and IB business, along with the CFD industry.

As part of the TAP Development team this role works closely with the Head of Development, TAP and Tony Ayres to deliver the operational management of the TAP scripted slate.  The Development Coordinator, TAP has overall responsibility for managing systems, admin, logistics, tracks legal documents and finance matters through to execution. This position requires an efficient administrator to facilitate the smooth-running of the TAP Development slate and act as the central point of contact for queries internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities 

• Work closely with the Head of Development, TAP to coordinate and track all idea submissions (external and internal), so that at any point in time there is the ability to update key stakeholders as to where an idea is at.
• Ensure that projects are processed through the department in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Head of Development, TAP to manage the  TAP Slate including drafting budgets, scripting schedules and arranging writers’ rooms (including drafting contracts and arranging travel).
• Liaise with finance department to ensure smooth processing of invoices and tracking contracting across all development projects.
• Facilitating the submission, delivery and acquittal of development funding applications through the various funding bodies.
• Designing and prepping pitch documents to take to market.
• Maintain systems and reports to enable an efficient and systematic workflow to meet agreed timeframes.
• Assist with the management of trainees and attachments that work with TAP.

• Tracking generating and managing training records, attendance and documents 
• Maintain and ensure content is up to date on the LMS
• Coordinate events, prepare materials, send out invited and schedule training 
• Adhoc administration to the wider team
• Support Instructional Designers with the creation of blended learning programs, exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
• Maintain project documentation and periodic reporting including TNA, skills gap analysis

About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Manager you will play a critical role in driving business growth for Ofload in Australia. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities with major Australian freight customers, establishing strategic partnerships, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will generate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers, producing quality leads, booking meetings and creating sales opportunities for Phocas Account Executives.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Ability to adapt and maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Curiosity to stay current with Phocas software, system information, new features/enhancements and product offerings.
• 1+ year/s of new business development experience, ideally with software-based solutions and B2B environment.
• Proven sales abilities with track record of over-achieving targets , and experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Ability to listen and apply new learnings and the willingness to learn tools and workflows that will help generate leads.

What you’ll do to grow fast and have fun:

• Lead inbound & outbound prospecting efforts through various channels such as email, phone, social media and CRM (HubSpot).
• Proactively engage prospective customers who meet our target profile.
• Articulate the Phocas business value proposition to decision makers, evaluating their use case, purchase time frames, pain/gain points and assess buying interest.
• Collaborate with relevant partners to generate quality leads from their customer base.
• Coordinate introductory conversations and sales demo/ presentations with Account Executives and where possible participate to inform, educate and help close deals.
