Essential Functions:

• Manage and own the entire sales process, from executing hunting strategy to deal closure.
• Identify target customers and segments to build a strong sales funnel, utilizing effective strategies to reach, engage, and convert leads.
• Communicate our value proposition and promote Wiser products and services in customer meetings, driving cross-selling opportunities between in-store and online solutions (see full suite at www.wiser.com).
• Develop tailored proposals addressing the needs of prospective customer organizations and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to implement our ‘farming’ strategy, keeping customers engaged and expanding existing key accounts through our product portfolio, new geographies, and business units.
• Drive recurring sales by fostering long-term customer relationships and positioning Wiser as a strategic partner in enhancing their retail execution across both online and in-store channels.
• Coach and mentor junior Account Executives to support their development.

The role:

In this newly created role, you will be required to travel across Australia and New Zealand to spearhead and lead our acquisition focus in the ANZ market for our industry leading Transport Management System (zTMS).

You will have a background in sourcing new business opportunities; and have extensive experience with negotiating high level deals that may be complex in structure.

Having knowledge of the logistics industry will be a huge benefit, but most importantly your ability to understand quicky the relationships and connections to unlock deals will be paramount. Because of the nature of these partnership opportunities, networking, connecting with key decision makers and having a presence online and in person at key events will play an important role in your success. The nature of this role would require you to be on the road very often to meet our clients across ANZ.

About the Role: 

As a Partnerships & Development Intern, your role is to build and maintain strategic partnerships with sellers and industry stakeholders. You will play a key part in identifying potential collaborators whose offerings align with our client’s vision and curation guidelines, initiating outreach, and nurturing long-term relationships. This includes:

• Partnership Development: Identify and engage potential sellers and industry partners, showcasing the value of our platform and building strong relationships.
• Onboarding & Support: Guide sellers through the onboarding process, ensuring smooth listing of their inventory and addressing any concerns.
• Process Improvement: Propose enhancements to streamline onboarding and partnership development, working with the tech team to implement solutions.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics and provide insights to shape strategic direction.
