What you’ll do   

As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Recording Cybersecurity current state and providing appropriate advice to support improvements to the organisation’s cybersecurity posture.
• Assist with the development and/or review of Cybersecurity Risk Management Plans including the documentation of implemented security controls.
• Assist with the development and/or review of System Security Plans including the documentation of information security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Identifying business risks / vulnerabilities and suggesting enhancements to existing security products.
• Identifying security requirements for new applications and other software products.
• Liaising with other business units in the identification of controls and preparation of reports to management on security incidents.

What you’ll bring  

You will bring at least 3 years Cybersecurity experience, ideally from within a managed service provider. You will possess a good understanding of ICT security policy in both federal government and commercial settings. Ideally, you will have a good command of the federal government standards and controls from the Information Security Manual (ISM) and more broadly the PSPF. You will be passionate about Cybersecurity and committed to making a customer’s environment safe and secure.

You will be a quick learner, self-driven and have exceptional communication and analytical skills. You are a team player, who is dedicated to both self-improvement and improvement of the wider Datacom community.

In addition, you will have sound knowledge and experience in undertaking ICT security compliance and Cybersecurity risk assessments producing security documentation for both current-state and target-state. We will count on you to:

• Apply your consulting skills and technical expertise, along with relevant methodologies (that you’ll be trained in) and professional judgment to client projects.
• Demonstrate intellectual leadership and consistently test final deliverables for completeness, relevance, and high impact against client issues and needs.
• Plan, design, resource and manage client projects and direct staff in executing the plan, and deliver projects on time and within budget
• Nurture key client relationships, identify opportunities to broaden or deepen these relationships in partnership with senior consultants, anticipating and responding to future client needs
• Support Business Development initiatives and proposals
• Develop own and other’s capability through informal and formal learning opportunities
• Participate in internal projects to improve Mercer, in particular talent, quality, service delivery, internal efficiency/effectiveness and intellectual capital

What you need to have: 

• Relevant undergraduate qualification is essential (e.g., business, human resources, finance)
• Relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable (e.g., MBA, Master of HR/Employment Relations)
• Experience in delivering and developing human capital services in corporate and/or consulting contexts across a number of industries
• Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to effectively manage people
• Solid client management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Strong teaming capability in order to work collaboratively with colleagues across service areas on business development activities, client relationship management and delivery of integrated solutions
• High level conceptual skills with the ability to rapidly learn new material and apply learning in a practical context to solve client problems
• Able to operate effectively in ambiguous situations with limited supervision, to multitask and to manage the pressure of competing deadlines without becoming unduly stressed

In this exciting customer-facing opportunity, you’ll develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging design trends to complement our business development teams in growing segment share.

What Will You Do?

Working as part of our reputable and talented Melbourne sales team and working with our iconic COLORBOND® product, you will:

• provide product, design and colour advice to volume home builders
• create, foster relationships and have multilevel engagements with volume home builders and their internal teams including display homes
• co-ordinate and manage events in conjunction with Design Studios as well as attendance at new estate launches
• manage display home locator with all volume home builders
• work with the team to deliver continuous improvement outcomes and solutions that create a point of difference both technically and visually by developing a deep understanding of key decision-makers and influences
• support our BDM’s at customer COLORBOND® steel training and launch events
• be a point of contact for all Steel Direct enquiries
• liaise with our marketing team to assist our channel partners in promoting the use of our products

More About You

As an experienced design and colour consultant with exposure to the residential building industry, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in design
• Exposure to a residential volume building environment
• demonstrated skills and experience in consulting and influencing colour, design and building material choices within the residential building segment
