The Claims Consultant is responsible for the proactive management of a portfolio of life insurance claims in accordance with TAL’s claims philosophy, claims handling procedures, policy terms & conditions and in accordance with the Life Insurance Code of Practice and other legislative and regulatory requirements.  

This may include but is not limited to;

• Adhering to external regulations (eg. Privacy and Life Insurance Code of Practice) and all relevant legislation and industry guidelines.
• Ensuring all interactions with Customers, Advisers and other internal and external stakeholders adhere to TAL’s Customer Service Culture through the provision of high-quality, accurate and compliant work.
• Contributing to department and company projects as required.
• Gathering and interpreting relevant information to form an appropriate claims strategy.
• Effective determination of correct benefit entitlement ensuring that legitimate claims are paid in a timely manner in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
• Working collaboratively with Technical Specialists, Recovery & Support Specialists, Health Services and other internal stakeholders.
• Arranging and participating in case conferences and peer case discussions, including preparation of documentation, record keeping and completion of agreed actions.
• Providing exceptional customer service, including proactively managing communication with customers and clients relating to the management of the claim and initiating support options, where appropriate.
• Customer and partner stakeholder management (e.g. advisers, trustees, fund administrators) whilst monitoring service delivery and quality.

• Engaging with clients to analyze organizational structures, methods, and procedures related to in-store execution, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Conducting comprehensive operational reviews of client systems and procedures to evaluate organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
• Recommending solutions to improve organizational efficiency and in-store execution processes based on data analysis and industry benchmarks.
• Performing benchmark studies to ensure proposed solutions align with industry standards.
• Translating client requirements into actionable shopper surveys for data collection.
• Analyzing and evaluating the collected in-store data to derive insights and guide decision-making.
• Drafting and presenting detailed proposals to revise organizational structures, workflows, and in-store execution methods to resolve inefficiencies.
• Delivering findings and solutions to clients using dashboards, presentations, infographics, and other documentation formats.
• Advising clients on implementing more efficient organizational processes and in-store execution practices to address specific challenges.
• Assisting in implementing approved recommendations by issuing revised instructions and updating procedures as necessary.

What you’ll do

At the moment, as a ServiceNow - Senior Functional Consultant, you will be across multiple projects with high profile clients.

You will lead ServiceNow workstreams for multiple clients, from requirements gathering, design, configuration and support activities. You will then lead testing activities, knowledge transfer sessions and user training.

The successful candidate for this role will be seen as an expert in their field and will have demonstrated experience and success in a similar, client facing role.

Additionally, we’re looking for the following -

• Strong ServiceNow technical knowledge and configuration skills
• TSM specialisation - understanding and experience of ITIL best practice, CMDB, CSDM, Service Design and SIAM
• Knowledge and certification of any other modules
• Ability to configure Catalogue Items, and design/brand the Employee Service Centre to medium complexity
• Previous implementation project experience
• ServiceNow Functional Certifications and CSA desirable

The Consultant, Client Success is a client-facing, individual contributor role serving as a Client Success subject matter expert. The Consultant enables new client capabilities, promotes product adoption and optimizes client performance. The role requires a high level of technical proficiency to succeed by supporting clients with complex problems and optimization opportunities.

We are looking for a Client Success Consultant to join the Client Services team for a 6-month fixed term contract. The Contract is due to end on the 30th Aoril 2025.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Visas Client Success transformation by partnering closely with Visa clients to maximize their benefits realization and value from Visa products through optimizing their performance. Working in conjunction with Account Team members from Client Services, Sales and Product, you will proactively drive Client Success outcomes in alignment with Visas business agenda as detailed in the Sales Account Plan. The individual will also define and deploy client support and service implementation strategies, including automated tools and capabilities to enhance the client experience, that drive value for our clients and support Visas strategy.

This role serves as a functional specialist, located in Sydney Melbourne Australia and reporting to Renet Snyman, Director Client Services.

Responsibilities include

• Support and or oversee the implementation of new Visa products purchased by Clients by coordinating key Client and Visa teams to expedite implementation readiness activities and steer Client toward faster time to value and maximized adoption of deployed products.
• Ensure Client operational goals and success metrics for their product landscape is understood.
• Foster and sustain trusted partnerships with internal Account Team members by aligning on the forward-looking relationship strategy and optimization opportunities and executing against Client Success Plans.
• Drive and deliver initiatives to improve client adoption of Visa products and use of Visa s self-service tools.
• Stay current with the latest payment processing trends, Visa solutions and technologies to provide a good Client experience and generate new sales leads as solutions to identified client pain points.
• Establish relationships with Client Services and other cross-functional teams within Visa to deliver subject matter expertise consultation as needed to optimize client performance.
• Provide subject matter expertise and consultation to Visa clients by leveraging insights and understanding of their local market and product needs to continually enhance the Client experience.
• Support periodic operational reviews with Clients and Visa stakeholders, incorporating input, comparison and client progress against product metrics.
• Proactively identify and drive opportunities to optimize client performance by monitoring client health.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

As a Technical Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and internal team members. The role will require a strong technical ability as well as strong client facing skills. Some projects will require you to lead standard solution implementations, managing what has been planned, as well as handling issues, changes, and identifying and mitigating risks for successful project implementations.

You will lead the documentation of program scope and requirements, and work alongside a project manager to development a project plan and timeline for the program. Throughout the implementation you establish and manage customer and internal expectations and coordinate project activities and resources to deliver customer programs on time and in-scope. You will also be responsible for the technical design, solution development, and postimplementation consulting and administration of solutions and programs on the Forsta platforms.

When necessary, you will work with the Solution Architects and Product Management teams for solutions that require development of custom components.

You’ll also be responsible for Post-implementation activities that include on-going technical expertise and support of accounts; building relationships with client business and technical users,  and conducting platform training sessions.

This role will require and challenge you to:

• Collaborate with customer and internal team to collect and document the program requirements.
• Assist in the development of the project plan and schedule; may work under the guidance of senior team members.
• Provide project governance; control the project plan and manage the change request process.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans; may work under the guidance of senior team members.
• Lead collaboration efforts to resolve program issues as they arise
• Maintain up to date project documentation.
• Act as the technical point of contact with the customer and other Forsta project team members.
• Develop technical specifications.
• Lead the development and deployment process working with the program management team.
• Adhere to Forsta and customer’s processes in place for project governance and delivery.
• Work with clients to integrate Forsta technologies into their business applications.
