The OPC is a central hub for election activities, where election materials are processed, stored, and dispatched, and where ballot papers are counted. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the setup, operational management, and decommissioning of the OPC.
Oversee the receipt and dispatch of election materials and ballot papers.
Ensure Work Health and Safety (WHS) protocols are implemented and adhered to.
Coordinate and supervise temporary polling staff.
Liaise with external providers for services such as utilities, cleaning, and security.
Support the Divisional Returning Officer (DRO) and OPC Project Manager to ensure all operational objectives are met.
