Reporting to the Director of Revenue, the Reservations Supervisor is a key player in supervising and managing the room inventory of Novotel Perth Langley.

You will passionately train and lead our team to success, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day operations for the Reservations department.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead, supervise and motivate a team, and has the skills to work closely with other departments to ensure our Hotels meet their objectives.

Sodexo is currently seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated Facility Maintenance Supervisor to join our team on a permanent, full time basis, within the Pilbara Reporting to the Facilities Management Manager , your key responsibility will be to oversee maintenance works on non-process infrastructure on our clients assets within a mine environment. You will be providing advice and support to maintenance personnel and sub-contractors on site with duties including completion of detailed scoping documents, quoting, supervising maintenance and minor construction work, scheduling, report preparation whilst ensuring work programs are on time and on budget. Positions are FIFO on an 8:6 roster (fights from Perth).

• Extensive experience in maintenance works management in a remote environment
• Sound understanding of mines and statutory regulations
• Knowledge of scoping, planning and supervising packages of work

The Position

• Full-time permanent position. Day shift
• Ensure all warehouse personnel and site visitors adhere to Redox’s policies, procedures, and site-specific conditions of WH&S in compliance with state and federal legislation.
• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, related logistics activities in co-ordination with the Store Manager to drive DIFOT performance.
• Effective and cohesive team management in mentoring, inducting and training warehouse operatives and related functions in processes, systems and operational tasks and functions.
• Ensure inventory management best practices are applied encompassing (but not limited to) stock storage, location, segregation, quantities, packaging, labelling and housekeeping.
• Responsible for good housekeeping and hygiene standards ensuring that GMP and HACCP compliance along with general warehouse cleanliness is maintained across the warehouse and related grounds.
• Ability to communicate and work with various stakeholders internally and externally to improve performance and outcomes for the business.
• Timely and effective execution of warehouse, MHE and safety related maintenance and inspection tasks/remedial action and reporting.
• Identify and act on opportunities for improvement in co-ordination with the Store Manager, whilst resolving raised quality problems.

About you

• Minimum of 2 years’ industry experience
• Cert IV of Warehousing (desirable), or willing to undertake training as part of accepting the role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in managing and guiding staff at all levels in warehouse operations and related activities.
• Hold a current Australian forklift license – minimum LF; whilst either a EWP, Telehandler (CN2) and or LO licenses are desirable.
• Demonstratable knowledge of Work, Health & Safety state and federal legislation
• Knowledgeable of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous substances regulatory handling and storage legislation or be willing to undertake training prior to commencement in the role.
• Experience in improvement and control systems and processes such as GMP, HACCP, Quality, Lean, Environmental management and CoR.
• Excellent time management, reporting and organisational skills.
• Experience with ERP and WMS tools with focus on warehouse and inventory systems.
• Ability to work in a well-paced and physically active environment.

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will assist in guiding the Food and Beverage team across multiple facilities to delivery an exceptional experience for all team members and resort guests, play a leading role in designing & executing the Food & Beverage Operations within the resort.  You will also:

• Ensure the Food and Beverage Department represents the core values of NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and guest experience.
• Maintain these standards whilst working within monthly financial budgets set by NRMA.
• Work professionally alongside the Chef, Resort Management and Events Team, to create industry leading outlets and functions, and
• Create and maintain a positive, dynamic working culture that creates moments of exceptional quality.
• Train and guide Food and Beverage Hosts and ensure service standards are met
• Lead team members in all aspects of the daily operation of the Restaurant/Café, providing the necessary assistance and training where required
• Barista duties as required

What You'll Bring:

Ideally, you will have previously managed or held a senior role in a Food and Beverage department you are now ready to move into a role where no one day will ever be the same. Your hands on experience will assist in leading & mentoring the department to success.

• Experience in a restaurant and or previous customer service experience.
• Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds
• Ability to communicate to the resort team the NRMA business goals, as well as the resort specific goals, and to encourage and support initiatives which may assist those goals
• Knowledge of and ability to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Ability to maintain control and composure in difficult situations
• Knowledge of relevant statutory/regulatory requirements impacting on resort operations such as Liquor Accommodation Acts and Environmental Legislation
