• Implement strategies to enhance clients' self-advocacy and decision-making abilities.

Skills and Attributes: -
• Diploma, Advance diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in disability services or a similar field.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to disability services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to promoting the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities.

Job Type & Salary: -
• This is a full-time permanent job.
• The base salary will be AUD 70,000- AUD 75,000.

Working Hours: -
Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

How you will make an impact The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services for Cabrini Health employees. Ensuring all operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities are accurate and delivered within appropriate time frames and comply with relevant legislation, policies and agreements. This is a permanent full-time position with a hybrid work model of onsite at Cabrini Corporate Office in Hawthorn East and remote from home. Key responsibilities will include:

Actioning all activities connected to end-to-end payroll processing for each authorised payrun, ensuring payments to employees are made accurately and on time. This includes both waged and salaried employees.
Administering approved changes to all payroll related employee changes and data, Workers' Comp payment, salary deductions, leave adjustments, tax and super variations, redundancy and termination calculation and processes, etc.
Responding to and advising staff on payroll matters or queries relating to employee entitlements.
Delivering adhoc and month end reporting, back-pay calculations and leave and pay reconciliations as required, e.g. budget data, leave liability provisioning, ABS etc.
Supporting the Payroll project team with subject matter advice and input and collaborate as required towards relevant project milestones.

About you You will bring your strong experience in processing end-to-end payroll in a large scale complex environment governed by multiple EBAs and awards to our supportive, collaborative team. You will also have:

A Degree or Certificate III and/or IV in Accounting, HR or any other relevant field.
Ability to interpret different awards and EBAs in Australian work environment.
Knowledge of Leave, payroll tax and Workcover and its application, particularly as it relates to payroll processing.
Experience in Chris21 Payroll system would highly advantageous.
High level customer service skills including outstanding interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy and proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel.

About the Role
We are currently seeking two Postdoctoral Research Fellows to support the NHMRC Synergy Grant-funded “Implementation of x-ray PhAse-Contrast Tomography to transform cancer diagnosis” (IMPACT) program. The IMPACT program aims to transform the diagnosis of breast and lung cancers worldwide using propagation-based phase-contrast computed tomography (PB-CT).

The Postdoctoral Research Assistants will lead the imaging side of IMPACT in breast CT and lung imaging streams, working closely with the Australian Synchrotron and multidisciplinary research teams at the universities of Melbourne, Monash, and Sydney. You’ll contribute to important research that establishes a path to the clinical implementation of PC-CT as a novel low-dose, high-quality imaging technique. This stage begins with the invasion of a single red blood cell by a single malaria causing parasite and is a dynamic and complex biological process. How the parasite can subvert the host membrane-cytoskeletal complex remains an open question. We are looking for a scientist who can help us understand how host derived mechanisms enable apicomplexan parasites to invade their host cells. This role will involve the use of advanced microscopy and /or image analysis techniques and would suit an individual who already has some experience in culturing the malaria parasite, or who has worked with other types of infectious organisms.
